I had a 1v1 custom against a Yin once. I mained Arlott and equipped a Petrify and a Burst Build.
I was just farming like a normal person. Clearing lanes, avoiding unnecessary skirmishes, and recalling after clearing up the lane so that my bots can split push.
Most guys who plays custom almost always go in the mid btw.
Once he initiated a fight in the early game, I won in the first round because my extra Petrify + 2nd Skill combo is so deadly, it overloaded Yin.
The fight in the game was intense, I have already built an Ogre Tomahawk, and an Azure Blade before my guy initiated a fight against me with an Ult ready to delete me. He used the Ult but my Arlott tanked all of Yin's attacks. After he used up all of his skills, he was wide open and also I found out that my 2nd Skill is still active so I finished him off. He surrendered immediately after being destroyed 2 times.

edit: my build is Hunter Strike, Blade of Despair, Malefic roar, endless battle, optional: Blade of hepastas, and other defence items.
Also Arlott with "Tough boots, HS, BOD, and other defence items in the three slot is just OP. Try it..
