I think that anyone that *really* listens to Ray's music and watches him perform understands everything that is important about Ray and what he was about. Music communicates certain things that cannot be conveyed by any other means, but it's always enjoyable to hear about the the respect, love, and understanding that he's generated in others in their own words.
