Let me start with the fact that I did not buy this unit but someone else in the house did. I have it on a daily schedule normal suction non matrix clean. In the short time its been with us its tried to eat several pairs of shoes, climb a floor fan and somehow turned itself completely over like a turtle on its back but it did sent an app message that it needed help returning to its dock. It has a bad habit of skipping rooms forcing me to send it back to that room after it completes its run. It can only run 90 minutes on a charge but takes around 4 hours to recharge so it takes two runs to clean the house. Most days it will return to its dock in the middle of a run to dump its bin. If you have any raised floor mats it will avoid them. It has a bad habit of rolling up throw rugs and bathroom mats. The single rotating brush will fall off if it encounters something and keeps pushing against it. The lidar will let the robot get stuck underneath chairs and dressers then it will send out a help message in the app and because it doesn't show itself on the cheap app you have to go around the house manually looking for it by listening to its beeping sound. Then when it returns to its dock it has trouble lining up to back in. If you use the spot clean button on the unit you will have to manually carry it back to its dock because even though it mapped the house it doesn't know where its at sending a I can't find my way to the dock message in the app. Would I recommend this unit? Not no but hell no!! Its better than nothing but definitely not worth what they are asking for it plus its very noisy. Lots of mechanical sounds coming from the unit which makes me think that its not durable. Good thing there's a geek squad warranty on it. I would buy something with better obstacle recognition and a larger battery. Too bad DeWalt doesn't make one that uses a 20v tool battery so I could just swap them out so it could keep going and clean the house. These things need rapid charge capability and a swappable battery would be nice. There's lots of room for improvement on them. Hopefully this helps someone.

I still haven’t found anything better than my Roborock Q5. Do you know of anything better that just has the vacuum feature?
