Personally I love their newer songs which defines Mamamoo's image for me - experimental, edgier & genre-breaking. But those songs like AYA, HIP all have very complex choreo with headset mics & edgier lyrics so it wouldn't have fit here They were going for light, feel-good vibe which is a fun throwback to pre-2018 MMM era when they had simpler choreos with hand mics Totally agree abt Mumumumuch, it feels nostalgic of early MMM It's like their love letter to that era & for the fans who have been following them since then
Something is different about Mamamoo. I feel like their next group project is going to be really special. Everyone has grown a lot as artists and their collabs and solos have really showed that in 2021. I know it's weird but I think that Mamamoo is shining more because they're finally able to do the things that they want to do. This stage was small but you could see how happy they were to perform and there's a lot to be happy about. 🥰
i agree, i think the fact that only have limited engagements together as group due to contract in wheein only obligated to do two comeback and its promotions till 2023 has made all the members focus more on own solos and more variety shows as they have more time...this has made all of them not only grow more but think also love and appreciate each other even more when together...think 2022 going be amazing year for girls
The girls individual career is pulling off steadily, though it seems our fandom has been divided i hope moomoos will continually support the members. They are bound to separate later but we have to be grateful for the times they comeback as a group. We have give our best. People say that 3rd gen is fading but it is more of entering a new phase which is solo career + group career. This is part of idol career maturity. And this has been so lucky that all of them have their own solo career to be proud of.

There was possibility they used prerecording, which was fine obviously. But in their aya performance for Shopee, their live voices were clear, which was amazing. Maybe they needed time to adapt. All in all mamamoo is still the best for me

Mumumumuch deserves a lot better and more than what mamamoo's company is giving. The way its not promoted on music shows, its only promotion is Moonbyul's studio Moon Night. The limited album stocks the company provide on the day of release to the point that moomoos cant buy anymore as its sold out only by 6K. It only shows how mamamoo's growth is hindered by an incompetent company.

This is the first time that Mamamoo sang Mumumumuch on a TV channel and big year end festival. They chose this song together with other threes to bring joy and love to general audiences. They are excellent performers with unique music colars and amazing vocals. I am so glad to see them perform together on stage as all of them are successful soloists working on their own music projects. Hope they contine to produce more Mamamoo songs in following years to bless us with their distinct music and voices.
