Omg tell her that I love the way she speaks and also I'm so proud of her just knowing dat she lives in a non-Muslim country n wearing Niqab it is a bit hard xx love xx
I 100% understand what you mean by the niqab being a barrier that prevents you from doing things you know you shouldn't do. I don't wear the niqab but the headscarf has the same effect with me. I feel like when I tell people this they don't understand that I mean😂 So when you mentioned it I was like "so I'm not the only one 😅" I feel like if I didn't observe hijab, I'd easily blend into gatherings that aren't "halal" whereas because I'm wearing the hijab I have this feeling of "I feel odd thinking about being there, or doing that with my hijab on" So that feeling of "shame" or "guilt" is probably a way of telling me that this is wrong. Although I most likely know that thing is wrong, but the hijab makes it way easier for me to stay away from being in that place or doing that thing.
I am non Muslim, and I wear a hijab and cover myself. I really want people to be more informed about the niqab! Where I live, seeing women in hijab is very normal (California) but not quite the niqab. I want that to change.
10:00 wearing darker colors better hides your awrah... people are more attracted to brighter colors.. so If im trying to guard my modesty.. why would I dress to please other people
I'm going to hopefully start wearing the niqab this September for uni but I've been feeling so nervous about it because of all the islamaphobia and honestly I'm so happy I stumbled across this video. This sister as an inspiration she's given me that boost of confidence I needed so much. alhamdulillah May Allāh reward her x
Assalamualaikum, question: if u live in a non-Muslim country how are u allowed to wear the Niqaab at uni? its not allowed where i live for medicine courses not sure about other ones but how do u get around it?
AllahumaBarik i'A you continue to get guided sisters. This was a very interesting video, don't see many niqabis speak their thoughts although I know a few. In terms of the job situation; as we're taught, with hardship comes ease so do take that into consideration & don't compromise straight away just for the sake of money or the dunya if there's an opportunity not as great but gives you the freedom you should take that and i'A Allah will reward you accordingly. As a young brother myself I'm growing out my beard and occasionally wear thobe, went out like that in west end recently and I understood the difference between people, you have the sheep who disliked me for how I looked or were afraid of me because of it just based off of what they've been subconsciously programmed to believe, and then you have the genuine people who want to increase their knowledge on why we dress a certain way etc and alhamdulillah most of the times they actually agree that it's a good way to repel things like evil eye, people looking at you in a "sexual manner" etc and that little form of dawah I guess you could call it can change someone's life from what I've seen (:
mashaa Allah .. ukhtiy we're the same feelings when I was first wear my niqab I feel comfortable and protect our precious beauty because the true beauty is in the heart and the niqabi girls like me I starting wearing niqab when I was 14 this is nice advice about niqab
Hainur adsaman selem Ukhti im crying now because i want to Wear It the Niqab one day but im scared of the reaction from the others please give me an advice Ukhti👍
Cherry bla -Assalamualaikum wah rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. ❤ Hope you’re great. Honestly, leave the people. You were created by Allah S.W.T to please the Creator not His creations. So just strive and go for it. Wear the niqab to please your Lord because in the end you’re only answerable to Him not the World. The temporary world that is going to finish but deeds that will help you not the worldly pleasures which are going to end. Let people do the talking, at least your Lord is pleased with you and if He is pleased with you, you legit have everything with you because the Almighty is with you. So go ukhti, slay it! All the best ❤️
I'm from Saudi Arabia.. we don't make women wear niqab at all what so ever that's not true .. l wear niqab btw but when you say that about Saudi Arabia l was like Is there's another Saudi Arabia? LoL 😂 anyway.. l would also have to say that even in Spain and other countries like China in any realign environment they make your cover up look at fun for Louis channel and you'll see how they didn't allow him to get to some places because of what he's wearing.. my point is it Not an Islamic thing.. Thank you guys so much
khowla essa thank you, you are so right even Jewish and Christian (yes I am one haha) women have worn face veils for a long period of time (some still this day even thought the face covering for Christian women is gone here in Europe) God Bless you and your heart and choices, we are all sisters in this world covered or not 💕
khowla essa ok, im muslim and i love saudi arabia, dont get me wrong. But its a lie that saudi arabia doesnt force women to wear the niqab. There are places that its obligatory the niqab on all women, muslim or not. Like the whole qasim province. So yea, even if its not in the whole country, saudi arabia still forces women to wear the niqab. Buuut i dont feel like its a bad thing. To me, niqab is sunnah and a part of the culture. And in areas like qasim its obligatory bc its culture, everyone wears it bc its normal, like jeans for weastern ppl.
Thank you for this informative video I enjoyed watching it most people don't make videos about niqab and it's one of the most misunderstood things in Islam. Love this video this would very much people to learn more and understand why Muslims ladies wear the Niqab and hijab..want to say thank u and 2 thumbs up for this video 😁
See I wear hijab myself but obviously like the ones that cover my whole body but what simple god has asked us to do! It's something that's really like easy and something anyone is able to do nowadays weather it's hard or not. But seeing her view and perspective on wearing a niqab is actually quite interesting and she seems really happy to do it especially how she always reminds people she's doing it for the the sake of god and for the sake of herself from protection from other man. This truly gives is muslim girls a sense of how good it feels to actually cover fully and what not. Really loved her view of how it really feels to be a niqabi.
I'd like to try niqab when i visit mosquein my country... It's funny how they talk at the same time. Just as any other group of good girl friends talking lol
I like wearing the hijab as a non Muslim, but I also do not believe revealing yourself is fulfilling anyone's desire. I think women should have the freedom to dress as they please, whether that be a tight mini dress or a niqab! Revealing yourself is not consent for harassment or making you oppression, and veiling yourself does not mean your are submission nor consent to harass. We should not be ashamed to dress as we want, and we all have different reasons for doing so. So let's not generalize, instead, let's support and empower each other.
MashaAllah sister, I'm a recent niqabi and I may be starting college soon as an engineering student (InshaAllah) and I've been so anxious thinking of how I'll network and navigate college life as an engineering student in general. If you don't mind, can you share your experience, including where u went to uni (like the U.S etc). I just realized this comment is 7 years old but oh well TT
As a Christian woman, it puzzles myself as to why niqab would be banned in France, or anywhere else. That's just ridiculous. I could wear a bikini and someone else does not have the freedom to be more modest? I had never thought about the freedom in feeling judged for who you are vs how you look. I think being true to yourself and your beliefs is a human right. I truly think that the only way to combat fear is for people to befriend people from all different backgrounds.
A niqab in a free western society is about as modest as putting a red flashlight on your head. The social and cultural norms in France are to show your face so running around like an ISIS sympathiser is downright offensive. Speaking about freedom of religion and human rights, look at countries where the niqab is mainstream and the lack of both
Assalamualaykum! Habiba I can relate to you on so many levels, JazakAllahu Khairan for sharing your life perspective, just something you might not have considered, you going to uni acts as a beacon to reassure other girls who may want to wear niqab but are apprehensive. alhamdulillah in my experience (not too long ago!) I was able to get at least one other girl from my community to start at uni in her niqab because I could reassure her with my experience. To be honest, I felt the way you do about my niqab when I graduated, I thought I'd have to take it off, but was reluctant to do so, but Alhamdulillah Allah opened up opportunities for me that I never would have thought of, Trust in Him, He is Ar-Razzaq, don't sacrifice your good actions that are sincerely for Him, in trying to attain anything dunyawi. That's my tuppence anyway, I feel strongly about it, dunno if it'll make sense to you!
It was interesting to hear your thoughts on women who don't cover themselves as much as you guys do-- although, it did make me a little uncomfortable to hear women like myself called "naked." I think that it is really, really important to understand that although some women dress that way for male validation, others don't. Just like some muslims dress a certain way because of external pressures, while others do it for themselves. Judging women for what they wear, how little or how much, isn't a good idea because THAT is what really oppresses women.
It is fine...just wear niqab anyways go..doesn't matter because Allah always be with us..Allah always protect us..if protect ur Iman...inshaAllah Allah will protect u as well...MashaAllah sister...i hope one i will become like u..salam from Malaysia💕💪
Non Muslim I read Anabel Inge's book on the women of Brixton mosque, those girls really opened up to her, its a really great book, you share their lives, their frustrations and their challenges. It's a great book, very respectful. She's speaking at the Hay Festival on June 2nd and she should be fully supported.
i wear the niqab and she really inspires me to be more confident as a niqabi, and lucky iam in Indonesia.. so, there is no more reason to be afraid to wear it. hopefully we remain istiqamah in the way of Allah SWT and rus also its sunnah. ameen
Honestly i feel this moment is the best time the majority of the female population has ever had. It's faaaar from perfect, but if you think in today's society we are judged by the way we look, you wouldn't want to go back even 30, 50 or 100 years ago to when women largly couldn't work outside the home and so if they weren't attractive enough for a man to marry ( even as children) they were mostly condemned to poverty. There is this hudge misconception that back in the day people had higher morals and the society was better. Honestly, this is one of the most free societies there have ever been, with civil, women and minorities rights being largly at their best so far ( which is still not even close enough in most places). This is something us women must acknowledge, be grateful for ( to all those before us who made it happen) and never stop fighting for complete equality.
hey girls !! omg i love her !!! say hi to her pleaaase i'm a moroccan niqabi , and NO we're not opressed to wear it Dude i'm not even married i'm only 19 years old and i Love wearing it
I've been to Morocco this summer and was surprised how many young niqabis there are nowadays. I hope this does not comme of as offensive or anything, i'm genuinely curios, having seen the culture up close both not being able to inquire into it. Do you feel there has been a shift in society? What made you feel like you wish to wear it and how does it make you feel?( i'm a 19 year old girl myself) do you think it may affect your future career? I hope you don't mind me asking🙈
I totallyy agree with what she said, yes englands a chrisitian but its not something thats banned here infact the headcovering is something thats taught in christianity too but besides that, a part of british values is to be accepting of other faiths and so on so she has every right to wear a niqab if she wants to, the law doesnt go against it so I dont get why people have to bring up the fact that shes living here and she cant wear it when she has actually has every right to wear it.
In some places they can go to women-only pools and wear whatever. Personally although I can't swim, we drive to the river and if no one's there we can uncover and go in and play. Obviously we'd suffocate if we wore a niqab swimming XD...
You can't wear whatever around other women. Women have an awrah around other women which is navel to knees which means you can't wear the western bikini you see on tv since that only covers the immediate private part. even the swimming shorts some girls wear doesn't cover nearly enough of the female to female awrah. Muslimah basically have to wear muslim men's swimming trunks as a minimum 👀. And it's recommended not to uncover too much around non muslim women because they don't have the same beliefs as us and might not fear Allah the way we do or respect and have the decency to not describe the body of the muslimah to men. At least that's something I have read/heard. To each their own. 👍
Of course you're right. I wasn't thinking about that in terms of swimwear- thanks for your corrections. No Muslim woman should wear a bikini in any case or even a one piece since you might as well be naked. I meant in terms of clothing like leggings and t-shirt or a skirt or something like that, following the rules of awrah, but not hijab. You are absolutely right; what seemed obvious to me might not be to other people; insha' Allah no one will take it the wrong way?
I mean if she's alone in a private pool with her husband then she can wear a bikini 👀 but yeah there might be non muslims that read the comments or some muslims that just don't know any better. Sometimes it's better to be more detailed and descriptive in one's answer. 🤷 idk maybe im the only one that took it the wrong way 😩
May Allah swt protect you girls ameen and I'm so proud of sisters who wear Niqaab may Allah keep you steadfast and grant you the best in this world and what's better in the hereafter
Mashallah thank u for the advice I really have learnt more and Now I feel more confident on wearing the hijab thank u guys so much I love u all 😘😘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I don't really understand your point of 'the niqab makes people judge me on the way I talk my personality etc instead of the way I look' because people will still judge you on the way you look, the clothes that you're wearing, the niqab?
since ppl will stare at you anyway the niqab serves to cover ur face so it makes perfect sense #imho but ppl should wear it once they are convinced it is part of the Deen.
Hijab's always look best in plain/block colours like these London Girls are wearing. I can understand people wanting to wear patterns for fun but it never looks as stylish or chic.
Allah will reward u if u cover urself and be modest especially for females, they are the treasure Of the Muslim Ummah (Nation ) . It’s not easy in today’s bling and funky society but Allah (SWT) Will reward all those actions which are hard to act upon and u do it for the Lord of the Universe.
Andrew henderson why doesn't Allah provide everyone with clothes then ? Truly loving gods wouldn't set people up for failure. They'd be enlightened enough to love unconditionally .
Please stop promoting the niqab in countries where people are averse to it. It serves no purpose but to exclude you out of mainstream society and makes Islam seem very extreme non-logical and oppressive. Women who wear it in muslim countries have a very colourful social/family life and are not ostracized out of public life. Many in Saudia Arabia and Emirates have nannies and house servants and spend a great deal in spas shopping and beauty. There are segregated beaches, gyms, public spaces for then to enjoy where they can wear bikinis if they like and do. They enjoy their freedoms and are chauffeured around designer boutiques. They are most certainly very feminine and love being women. It is NOT the same social life, culture as in UK or other European countries.
Million reasons why hijab/niqab is oppressing women. Women are not diamonds, pearls or precious gem to be hidden. To call them those things is an insult as those are material items men gives value to, then fight and kill each other over it. In a normal society most men have appropiate manners and know how to treat all ladies with respect with hijab or not. If a woman weares hijab and admits that it's her fault how a man acts towards her, unfairly she is shifting all the blame. Boys should grow up knowing how to treat their mamas and sisters better. The frequent comment that Nuns wear one too. Nuns are a small minority in the Christian community who decide not at childhood, or puberty to wear a habit but, as an adult who is aware of their decision to devote themselves to God. It’s not imposed to them. Hijab ensures a woman's fidelity... but not a man's. Is this anything to be proud of? Wearing a hijab would be an insult to those same women who fought for women to be seen by men as equals first and women second. You say a hijab doesn't stop you from doing things, your right it doesn't. But you only enjoy those privileges because of efforts made by women in history who did not. It can sexualize girls and women. You're covering them up so they don't attract the gaze of men, which makes out women to be inherently sexual objects, even girls as young as 10 and under. Does that mean she is instantly a sex object if she doesnt wear a piece of a cloth on her head? That is just a men’s miserable excuse for not controlling themselves and behaiving like animals without sense. Look up for a clip called Sexual Harassment in Egypt where Awel El-Khayt takes a closer look at the causes and consequences of sexual harrassment and try and understand the mindset of the harasser and what motivates them. Unbehaived man will always find a way to harrass woman, even if she walks naked or like a mummy. Teach men to behave themselves and to control their desires. And this comes from a man. If you are worried about how society thinks about you, aim to change society not yourself. By wearing a hijab you are running away from the problem not solving it. Let's teach our boys to treat all girls with respect, and teach girls that they are not judged based on what they wear, and that they will be loved and accepted regardless. And mostly, men pretending to act all nice and polite because of what you wear. Women should appreciate men who act polite all the time period, and if they only act polite in the presence of a hijab what are they really like?
APPARENTLY, they wore the face veil. Allah does not require it, nor does He require for the hijab to be worn. I think the Niqab causes security issues and it is dangerous. Maybe that's why Allah does not want for us to wear it.
Obviously other people don't agree with you and sometimes you have to agree to disagree. But as soon as you believe you have the right to decide what other people should and shouldn't wear that's already imposing your beliefs on others. If you believe it shouldn't be worn, fine. If you believe women shouldn't have the right to wear it or any other article of clothing on their bodies in their spaces...not fine.
Alhamdulillah, i started wear niqab 2 years ago. İ feels sooooo comfortable and I don't know how beautiful this feeling is.. 💕

Tim Gib not everyone who wears niqab is a salafi.
it doesn't matter ...every body has his own right to do whatever he/she wants to !!!!
Tim Gib there are laws in every country which determine what u can and can't do, and sharia is just one of them. So ur point is??
Tim Gib There are plenty niqabis who aren't lol.
I 100% understand what you mean by the niqab being a barrier that prevents you from doing things you know you shouldn't do. I don't wear the niqab but the headscarf has the same effect with me. F J exactly I don't smoke in hijab or I feel embarrassed or guilty Alhamdulillah Astaghfirullah
A non muslim needs to watch this video lol, niqabis are normal human beings too. Nice video guys!
Tim Gib so do u think the identity of a woman is her sex
inquiett Islam will come and Niqup will be in every place in Europe

Thank you for this informative video I enjoyed watching it
most people don't make videos about niqab and it's one of the most misunderstood things in Islam.
I just want to clarify something for you
First of all I'm from Saudi and I'm a niqabi teen who I chose to wear it I know there are some Saudi girls who were forced to but I'm not
So what I wanted to say is that maybe you guys think that niqab and hijab are a must in Saudi (by the government) but it's actually not, it's only in almasjed alharam in Macca and Madina where you should wear hijab/headscarf
For the rest of Saudi there is no rule that says you have to wear hijab I always see Eastern women here who don't even wear abaya and no one says anything to them but some people like to wear hijab when they come so they won't be odd
Maybe it is a must in some families/parents but it's not an official rule (in the *past* there were a rule that tells to wear abaya but not hijab or niqab)
Edit: omg I just realized I talk way too much😂😂so sorry for that
Tot Zoz thanks you for clarifying this will clear people's stereotypes about Saudi

Being niqabi in London is ok because London is a very diverse city. Can you imagine being a hijabi in Devon or Norwich or other very white places.
I can tell by her eyes, she's pretty ❤ MashaAllah

A niqab in a free western society is about as modest as putting a red flashlight on your head. The social and cultural norms in France are to show your face so running around like an ISIS sympathiser is downright offensive.
Speaking about freedom of religion and human rights, look at countries where the niqab is mainstream and the lack of both
actually love this you guys are so inspiring love you xx
Assalamualaykum! Habiba I can relate to you on so many levels, JazakAllahu Khairan for sharing your life perspective,
just something you might not have considered, you going to uni acts as a beacon to reassure other girls who may want to wear niqab but are apprehensive. alhamdulillah in my experience (not too long ago!) I was able to get at least one other girl from my community to start at uni in her niqab because I could reassure her with my experience.
Omg this was the funniest most informative and fun video ever!! Love it so much! You girls are so lively and gorgeous! ❤️❤️❤️
It is considered naked to us. It harms society both women and men. We obey God not ourselves.
There is also a scary hadith about the women who dress but are still naked, they will not enter nor smell heaven.
Habiba seems so nice, sweet and such a cool friend and cousin ❤
It's a great step to make ppl know more bout niqab n dat it's not somethin bad♡

I read Anabel Inge's book on the women of Brixton mosque, those girls really opened up to her, its a really great book, you share their lives, their frustrations and their challenges. It's a great book, very respectful. She's speaking at the Hay Festival on June 2nd and she should be fully supported.
Please do a video on the recent EU court ruling that work places can ask people to remove religious or political wearing like the scarf and cross.
I so agree with this new COURT RULING
I so agree with Habiba when she mentioned that for her personality the Niqab protects her, alhamdulillah my Niqab protects me too 🖤
I love you girls from Mexico, hope meet you one day.

May Allah(swt) forgive, protect and keep firm our Brothers and Sisters in Islam. Insha'allah. Ameen.
This is something us women must acknowledge, be grateful for ( to all those before us who made it happen) and never stop fighting for complete equality.
always love to see u both and now with your special guest..
hiiiii from indonesia

Soumaia Benna assalaam alaykum in a new revert need help learning arabic
I've been to Morocco this summer and was surprised how many young niqabis there are nowadays. I hope this does not comme of as offensive or anything, i'm genuinely curios, having seen the culture up close both not being able to inquire into it. Do you feel there has been a shift in society? What made you feel like you wish to wear it and how does it make you feel?( i'm a 19 year old girl myself) do you think it may affect your future career? I hope you don't mind me asking🙈
Of course your oppressed lol try walking outside in t shirt and shorts you'll be stoned to death 😒😔😖.
She replied sooo good mashallah❤️
I totallyy agree with what she said, yes englands a chrisitian but its not something thats banned here infact the headcovering is something thats taught in christianity too but besides that, a part of british values is to be accepting of other faiths and so on so she has every right to wear a niqab if she wants to, the law doesnt go against it so I dont get why people have to bring up the fact that shes living here and she cant wear it when she has actually has every right to wear it.

I have a weird question which is..
How do niqabis go swimming and what do they wear there?
I mean if she's alone in a private pool with her husband then she can wear a bikini 👀
but yeah there might be non muslims that read the comments or some muslims that just don't know any better. Sometimes it's better to be more detailed and descriptive in one's answer. 🤷 idk maybe im the only one that took it the wrong way 😩
i love this girl man she seems so funny and cute love her and continue whats you`re doing i`ll be sure a friend of ya
May Allah swt protect you girls ameen and I'm so proud of sisters who wear Niqaab may Allah keep you steadfast and grant you the best in this world and what's better in the hereafter

Love You London Girls,You're The Best 😊💖😊💖😊💖
PLEASE INTERVIEW HARRIS!
I don't really understand your point of 'the niqab makes people judge me on the way I talk my personality etc instead of the way I look' because people will still judge you on the way you look, the clothes that you're wearing, the niqab?
Indeed. I judge people who wear the niqab in a western society as likely sympathisers of the ISIS ideology
love to see u,always and welcome to your special guest...
I love the niqabi sister. but I don't get why the other sister's are giggling and scared to go too deep into thigs...
pauliute I don’t think they understand the importance.
You guys have to watch The Ninja and The Gora.
This is such a good video. Love the new series 🙏🏽☺️💖
Interview Harris😻❤️
what is the noise in the background
since ppl will stare at you anyway the niqab serves to cover ur face so it makes perfect sense #imho but ppl should wear it once they are convinced it is part of the Deen.
This was so interesting i loved it x
Want more videos like this
“#1 we’re not oppressed” 😭😂 You guys are amazing
The quality is sooooo good
I literally love this video
Hijab's always look best in plain/block colours like these London Girls are wearing. I can understand people wanting to wear patterns for fun but it never looks as stylish or chic.
I LOVE HER SOOOO MUCH !!
Allah will reward u if u cover urself and be modest especially for females, they are the treasure
Of the Muslim Ummah (Nation ) . It’s not easy in today’s bling and funky society but Allah (SWT)
Will reward all those actions which are hard to act upon and u do it for the Lord of the Universe.
Andrew henderson why doesn't Allah provide everyone with clothes then ? Truly loving gods wouldn't set people up for failure. They'd be enlightened enough to love unconditionally .
MashaAllah may Allah reward you for everything good you do
im gonna ace sociology now
SAVAGE RAINBOWS Who says she can't? she chose not to. What's your problem?

As a Muslim woman I don't understand the point of the niqab... I honestly do view it negatively, but I'm trying to understand it...
Melis Williz prophet mohammad (peace be upon him )'s wives wore face veil
