Most of us are just used to over exposed makeup videos. Most of the make up videos here on TH-cam are so bright that the camera can't pick up the skin texture. Very convenient for the gurus, but not representative of real life. That's what I like about Charlotte's videos, we can actually see the skin and the effects of the products properly.

No, It was always her natural hair
Who, Bardot had a wig??? NOOO, she had - and at 81, STILL has - the most gorgeous, naturally thick hair and was the ORIGINAL early to late 60's Hair style with long, into your eyes bangs (fringe), longer side pieces that framed your face, and the long, long hair style that the Beatles wives/girlfriends ALL copied!. That hairstyle also had the most adorable off-shoot styles as well, the half-up, half down, teased and smoothed back from the crown with, classically mid- late 60's velvet (usually black!)flat bow clipped in at the place above the fringe where the separation is.

sorry the edit feature isn't working, this hairstyle is shown in the documentary at 16:15-16:30, and in this shot, the flat black bow is a bit farther back.

I really think if there is not the occasion, like a night out, everyone in real daylight and not with studiolights and filters will look like a lowbudget porn star.

Laura Vicente it's just lack of proper cleansing, no skincare, a lot of smoking and drinking - you see this sort of skin everywhere in the uk. never seen it anywhere else. on the other hand, Korean girls have absolutely amazing skin.
+no1excuses not always... I have seen korean girls that spend tons of money and time on their skin and still have large pores and some pimples. It really depends on the person. I'm not korean and I spend very little time on my skin, but I have no skin issues whatsoever (I.e. I have no freckles and it's like I was born with no pores.) a lot of it depends on the person.
Laura Vicente some people just have large pores. Why don't people realize this?!? The poreless faces you see on youtube abd Instagram are all thanks to overexposure, All kinds of lights, and filters. That girls pores were hardly that big

Magic cream? You would think it would hide some of the pores! or maybe is the foundation that's rubbish! Either way, the skin didn't look great, especially not with that much highlight on. And what's with the gloopy OTT lip gloss? Poor Millie, she's normally GORGEOUS

Absolutely have loved all the Tutorials and the recent in the Bathroom interview that Sali Hughes did with Charlotte Tilbury. I have now watched both segments 3 times. Charlotte's enthusiasm and love of her passion are infectious and you just know that someone who loves what they do to that extent can only make amazing products. I keep looking at them all on Selfridges online but I still can't make a decision. I want all of it and would love to see it in person. Any ideas when or if Charlotte's line will be coming to Canada? I will be the 1st in line when it does!

Charlotte I think you noticed that many US followers would love to buy your products. That being said there should be international shipping for everyone could buy.
I really do not like that gold highlighter, it looks gaudy and unnatural...it also seems to emphasize the pores on the model. A softer, semi-matte look minus all that shine and shimmer on her cheeks would have suited her better. I do like the eye make up, blush color, bronzer and the overall look otherwise. I almost purchased the bronze & glow kit, but good thing I watched these videos. It would have ended up as a very expensive blind buy gone wrong.
