Their inherent isolation from the world by the nature of their work is such an interesting concept, and really drives the point home about Reagan and Brett's trauma. I’m a full blown “I’ve watched a couple episodes of TOS and TNG, the first two seasons of DIS and most of the movies” super casual Star Trek fan and I also love Lower Decks. The Rick and Morty influence was there for some of the first season (the creator was in the RM writer’s room) but they’ve calmed down quite a lot. Solid writing, well developed characters, very good voice cast. Animation is all noodle arms but has some good moments when they try. It’s not exclusively for the old head hardcore fans although I can tell there are a lot of jokes making fun of super deepcut parts of the canon.
Oh thank god someone mentioned lower decks. I generally like much of the nerdy scifi stuff but I never saw any of the treks and this show has got me to finally start to get into it. I know season 1 had a rough start but do people not like it, i only heard good things from people who watched it.
Hulu’s biggest crime is whenever i go to rewatch a show, every episode picks up at the end credits and i have to restart the episode, wouldnt be a problem if i didnt almost exclusively watch shows ive already seen when going to sleep, so an ep will end and itll just play the outro over and over again for hours 😂

I'm just here to say that Sonic Prime is one of the only reasons I still give Netflix any thought. The animation, pacing, plot, and characterization improved by leaps and bound between season 1 and 2. It's confirmed to have a 3rd season already, but I'm so worried it'll be dropped after that like so many other great shows on there.
I agree with everything, expect the shade on inside job. I actually enjoyed inside job. It was a nice distraction for the most part and I really fell in love with most of the cast Its flawed, has a few bugs that could be reworked to make it better story wise. But for the most part I'd give it 6/10 cause of how much I enjoyed it. Even watch it again if I want some nice background noise Also Rick and Morty was alright. I enjoyed inside more for the most part🎉

I'm just here to say that Sonic Prime is one of the only reasons I still give Netflix any thought. The animation, pacing, plot, and characterization improved by leaps and bound between season 1 and 2. It's confirmed to have a 3rd season already, but I'm so worried it'll be dropped after that like so many other great shows on there.

I agree with everything, expect the shade on inside job. I actually enjoyed inside job. It was a nice distraction for the most part and I really fell in love with most of the cast
Its flawed, has a few bugs that could be reworked to make it better story wise. But for the most part I'd give it 6/10 cause of how much I enjoyed it. Even watch it again if I want some nice background noise
