Would you recommend this bike to upgrade? Do you think the frame is strong enough assuming I avoid hitting a pole? Also, do you know if the swingarm is steel or aluminum?
Yea, its a good Frame. I just welded it back together and its like it never happened. The frame is a good option and worthy to build upon. It is very similar to a Super 73 Frame. I think they are made in same factory in China. The Super 73 is probably stronger and better off road, but I dont go off road much and the minor design difference allows for a additional battery which I need..I believe it uses the same swing arm as Super 73 and it is very solid using bearings to eliminate sway or play. I believe shock can be easily upgraded as it is the same pin to pin as Super 73 as well as different seat options. I changed the Handle Pars and put a bigger sprocket added a batter and mounted the controller under the seat The head light is very bright and projects perfectly.
