Now THAT'S a good dealer! She has great card placement which is something we watch for in the pit... Dealing sloppy isn't good for the floor supervisors... We try to politely criticize dealers who deal sloppy to clean up their game 😉
There are since great dealers at Station Casinos. There are some sloppy ones as well, but I’m typically playing alone so they don’t bother me. It’s when you have a full table and a sloppy dealer that it gets rough.
@@BeyondBlackjack Most of the dealers I know in Vegas really don't like their jobs too much unless they work at a high end property... If they let them take home their own tips daily customer service would be amazing... But the big corporations want to save money by making them share their tips on a check because people don't tip the dealers AS MUCH as they would if they knew it was going into their favorite dealer and not every dealer in the casino... Here in southern California the tribes THRIVE on customer service and they know that the dealers will be much friendlier and happy keeping their own tips so thats why we do that here... The tribes are not nearly as greedy as the big corporate owned casinos... I guarantee if you came and played here you would see a HUGE difference in the dealer's demeanor and customer service... It's a shame what greed does to 75% of the dealers in Vegas... I know I definitely wouldn't wanna work in Vegas for a greedy corporation... Not if my life depended on it... Say if you were a cocktail waitress that had to give your tips to someone else to count and get them on a paycheck... Would you trust that knowing you have no idea who's counting them or could be stealing them from you? You know how many times it's happened to the dealers in Vegas? The people counting the tips and stealing them? It's happened at least once at most of the Vegas properties... The counters shoving dealer tips up their sleeves? Surveillance doesn't always catch everything right away... A well played scam can go on for MONTHS before they'd be alerted to it...
I totally understand. I bartended my way through college and HATED when I worked at a place that made me share my tips because I always had the most tips...lol. It's hard to work hard and watch the guy next to you slack all night and then have to share your tips.
I have a feeling when your final shoe is done at this table you will both come out ahead! Great dealer!!!

I've never seen a casino allow the customer to keep their chip stacks so close to the circle. EVER.
Some of the tables we film have super large print so we don’t have a choice. I’m sure if we weren’t on a private table it would be a little different.
