I wanted to film a different video showing off two different translucent powders. Both pretty much the same thing but two different colours. As a WOC translucent powders can be a struggle, however some that may work for many may not work for others. So i wanted to compare these two and see which one i truly like

I add Ben Nye pink to all my under eye powders. It looks amazing on light skins as well as deep rich skin tones!!

It is! The pink added in makes it very bright under the eye, very pretty in photos, especially when you use falsh 🙏🏼💖
I think the pink looks best on you. I don’t like yellow powder on myself either. I can use pink or I can use Ben Nye Topaz or Coco Tan (more olive/light brown and peachy tan, respectively).

I have the Becca soft blurring powder in pink but I don't see any black girls using it on TH-cam so I don't even know what to do with it

I also prefer the pink and it makes skin look healthier and more natural.
Why am I not surprised that you were years ahead of the curve! 😂. I've decided to get the Huda Beauty pink setting powder because I'm afraid that the One Size pink setting power is really matte which I know because I have it in translucent and medium deep. Sacha Buttercup was my first yellow tone setting powder and I loved it for a couple of years and then a tried Laura Mercier and so many other setting powders that are better in my opinion. Charlotte Tilbury setting powders actually changed the game for me.

I think the yellow powder looks more glowy while the pink powder looks more matte.

If anything pink goes on my face... I will wash it off😂😂 I think pink looks so disgusting on my dark skin, it just looks so obviously pink in person. For a white person, pink tinted makeup can be perfect but black women aren't pink ... My cousin was starting out in makeup and used a setting powder that had a tint of pink..... It just looked horrible. Her shoulders and ARM were very golden and red but her face... Pink😂. Yellow, brown or red is the way to go for dark skin women, it matches our faces and undertones

Miss Sydz yes, it's just my pet peeve and opinion. I don't know why but I despise pink makeup. Pink concealer, pink tinted powder, anything pink on dark skin because it goes very ashy and looks very pink, it doesn't blend in, it's just in my head. Have you ever tried the w7 banana powder?

You're wrong about BW skin. We have various undertones. I'm neutral/cool and yellow under-eye powder (Sacha Buttercup) looks really off on me. I'm Nars Belem in foundation for reference.
I get what you mean but pink can suit black women too, just not all of them depending on their skin tone
