Great fairy tale. Like the drummer boy always said, "impossible is for those who do not try". He met and freed the princess from the wicked, ugly old witch after completing three impossible tasks. Outsmarting the giants to convincing them to take him to Glass Mountain, emptying the pond and making a thousand bouquets of flowers. The drummer and the princess fell in love and were married, not before he forget his beloved and was asked to marry another bride. But the princess did not give up and refused to stop until she helped the drummer to remember her, then she did it. He remembered. Glad all went well. So, the drummer and the princess got married and lived happily ever after. The end.

Thimble is a small cover to protect the finger when sewing. But in this story said the witch asked the drummer to empty out the pond with the thimble. Look, the thimble was so big and looked like the bucket rather than the thimble.
