That;s one of the things I don't understand about BCB. I like a DC boat and in their narrow boats (Cougar, Puma), there is no where to sit to rig tackle. I know they say you can sit on the center box but if you do that, reaching down into the tackle storage areas is very uncomfortable. When they build a wide body boat (Caracal, Lynx), they still put the consoles so close together you can't sit between them. Especially with the Caracal the passenger console looks to be in about the center of the boat which gives it a very odd, non uniform appearance. Whenever layout oddities are mentioned, the standard reply is they do everything for a reason. Maybe so but it looks like an afterthought. I've had 4 dual console boatss with only one of them not allowing enough room between the consoles (203 Champ). My 198 Champ, Z520, and current Z520C allow you to sit on the cooler lid between the consoles and access rods and tackle easily. Its a very comfortable spot to re-rig tackle. My tackle is all in either the center box or the box directly in front of starboard console. Its a very efficient storage system and comfortable. I wish BCB would do the same. @@KenSmithFishing My cousin just received his Lynx-250 about 2 months ago and BCB sent it with a 23 Fury 3 blade..he is running upper 70’s at right around 6200 rpm’s..might be worth it to try, if you can get your hands on one..
The last couple years, seems like ll my big ones t Athens look like the are cross country sprinters rather then offensive linemen . No belly on them at all and I do t get it, there’s bait everywhere.

Lynx with a 250 needs a 23 pitch Fury..24 is too steep for a 250..i run the Lynx with a 300 and a 24 Fury and my rpm’s are right at 6200 at WOT..
But it’s running 72-75 mph?
