GHAR - An Orphanage for Girls and a Home for Disabled Women and Senior Citizens in Pune

Having served the Nation with honour, Army veterans have created "Ghar"- a charitable home of Sant Ishwar Foundation for orphan, abandoned and vulnerable girls, women with locomotive disabilities and old age people. Ghar houses an orphanage for girls, a home for disabled women and an old age home for senior citizens all under one roof.
Ghar is about belongingness, security, hope, a good future and above all about love and affection. Ghar is a home in its truest sense for her family of daughters, mothers and grandparents. Ghar is about creating fulfilling, meaningful and purposeful lives and them learning how to use that to make an impact and a difference in the lives of others. Girls are provided opportunities to realise their full potential; disabled women to become productive members of society; senior citizens to live a happy life. Donations to the trust are exempt from income tax.
