I was having the same issue with extra dry skin postpartum. What works for me is drunk elephant's virgin marula luxury facial oil. I put it on my hands and it's amazing. It's expensive but a little goes a long way
Slather on Aquaphor whenever you can, and use gloves when you do the dishes or do any other kind of heavier duty cleaning (e.g. bathrooms and kitchen). Also, Lucas Paw Paw ointment cleared up the eczema on the backs of my hands within a day or two (in combination with using gloves when washing dishes/bottles)!
Breastmilk can really help! And another thing that could really help is using a whipped tallow lotion! That along with incorporating raw milk healed my child’s eczema!
Yes, a video on what you did to increase her vocabulary would be much appreciated! ❤ I have a toddler and a 9 month old and I want to do more with them to help their vocab but I'm feeling stuck
Honestly talking to them and interacting with them whenever you can is the best thing :))). it's not a magical formula and baby's brains have the synapses and neurons they need to be making lots of connections as long as they are being spoken to. don't stress if they are a little late or not following the regular track you see. Often toddlers will accumulate words in their mind without talking much and it will come out in a huge explosion of talking later! You only need to worry if your nine month old isn't making any sounds at all (grunts, squeals, giggles, maybe single syllable babbling) or if your toddler is still not talking by three. I study developmental psychology in college and have finished studying the development of language in babies and toddlers so I hope this is helpful. You are doing great!
Would love a video on what you do with Vivian. My son just turned 18 months and is a chatty talker too! I stay at home with him and we do “school” activities everyday 💗
Thank you for sharing about how your 3 month old is doing especially sleep. My little man is 8 weeks and barely getting 3 hr stretches and the mom friends around me have babies sleeping through the night so it’s encouraging to hear I’m not alone in the no sleep!
Just gotta say… John Mayer was hands down one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to in my life & I got unexpectedly emotional when I saw him live (it was a literal dream of mine for years). Excited for you to see him live!! 😂
Also, would love to see a video of toddler language development. My daughter is 16 months old and has a pretty good vocabulary so far but Vivis is so impressive!!!
I wouldn’t worry toooo much about feeling the letdown. I’ve been breastfeeding my now almost 19 month old on demand since birth and I realize I don’t always feel my letdown (and it was always like this). Sometimes I do, but most times I don’t, and I think she’s still getting milk (I hear her gulp gulp). I love your videos ❤️
First off I just wanted to say I love your channel! I recently joined and have already watched so many of your wonderful videos. I am a first time momma to 2 month old baby boy and I actually live near your area so it’s been lots of fun finding someone who is a Canadian and a TH-cam mom!! 🥰♥️ second I have strawberry blonde hair and I agree it’s crazy how fast it can change! My dad was like Jared went red, blonde and then brown but no matter what Jude is adorable 😍 thank you so much for sharing real life videos and being so informative and relatable as well! You are amazing ♥️♥️
I have had the same issue with dryness on my hands. I started putting coconut oil, olive oil, and a bit of baby body oil on at night and keep them covered with some disposable gloves all through the night. Do this for a week straight and it will help get your hands back to a manageable state. I know how hard it can be as a sahm constantly changing diapers, cleaning, cooking, etc. this helped more than any lotions or creams
Hi Beth! I get seasonal eczema on my hands whenever the weather gets colder/drier and the ONLY thing that has ever worked for me is Gold Bond Ultimate Eczema Relief with 2% colloidal oatmeal. Whatever you end up trying, I hope it helps!
My baby boy ( also a big sturdy baby) is a few weeks younger than jude and your sleep journey sounds the exact same as mine. I'm a ftm, thank you for sharing, now I don't feel so alone and I know a lot of what we're going through is normal. My boy had one 5 hour stretch in 13 weeks of life and only a few 4 hour stretches. You're so right though, sometimes it feels like the boob is the only thing that will get him back to sleep, I'm so sleep deprived that I am just doing what I have to do to survive at this point
My nearly 4 month old has been waking every 2hrs at night for the last 4 weeks. 3 weeks in he randomly slept 7hrs straight… it hasn’t been repeated so far 😅
My daughter had eczema since she was a newborn and now that she’s bigger it has gone🙏 her dermatologist recommended to fill the tub like half and pour one cap of Clorox (same cap you close the Clorox with) whenever her skin had flare ups only. Be careful with his little eyes. Make sure you mix it with your hand when you pour it in the water and before getting baby in the tub. She was also recommended cerave baby skincare body wash and cream which is thicker for dry, flaky skin. Hope it helps like it helped my daughter. Many blessings 💕 by the way we’re sisters in Christ!
Definitely recommend Evereden's eczema treatment! My eczema started when I became pregnant and now every winter it flares up. I've found that this natural treatment was the best to work for me. It cleared up within 2 days of using it and hasn't returned at all since.
Pour breastmilk on your dry hands!! It will cure it. Also on any baby acne I used to put freshly squeezed Booby milk on his face and within two days it would clear my baby’s skin. He’s just a week or so older than your baby and we’re also going through the 4 month sleep regression. It is ROUGH praying for you and your baby to also get through it ❤
For dry skin/cracked hands, try a beef tallow balm. It works WONDERS for all of my skin problems. I personally use the brand Touch of Tallow but I’m sure there are other great companies out there!
Cetaphil and staying hyrdated are the only things that help my eczema! I use the cetaphil handwash and the cream when it's REALLY bad, but most times I can just use the cream/moisturiser and be fine.
Girl!! I have eczema on my hands as well and I feel like it has been worse during my pregnancy… my fingers will get so swollen and red not my favorite lol! I will rotate between the Lubriderm or Cetaphil lotion. I also avoid showering with hot water or doing the dishes in hot water. I’ve heard breast milk or breast milk lotion works wonders! Hoping once my little girl is born we’ll both reap the benifits of it 😅
I have the SAME eczema on my fingers. It hurts so bad! Mine even has blisters on them 🥴 mine started when I was pregnant as well so I always thought it had something to do with hormones (I had eczema as a kid too) what I have come to the conclusion is causing mine is Thieves Cleaner. I know, seems strange, but since I’ve stopped using it I have noticed it healing. I also put Cereva lotion on my hands 2x a day. I’m not sure what you use to wipe your counter tops, but if you do use YL thieves cleaner, maybe try something else and see if it helps. 😊
My daughter was born October 14 of last year, and she still wakes to eat every 2 1/2. so torn on what to do for sleep training, and if we should even try. Definitely praying for you to feel rested and rejuvenated - and will take any tips on what you’re planning to do with that 😂
Girl…. I am right there with you 🫠 literally same. I think it’s partly the regression (which feels like a lifetime) and also reaching a stage where we can start “coaching” back to sleep instead of assuming more calories are needed every time. We aren’t doing any real “training” or crying it out - just following a list of steps to resettle that I have from the TCB course. But I am also feeding back to sleep out of desperation to get some rest like, 90% of the time. 😂 and also trying to remember that all those feedings are bonding moments for me + my baby as well! Praying for rest for you too!! 🤍
If you're still breast feeding... wash your rash with the breast milk... I also use sulfate soap... (yellow packaging) on Amazon I have bad eczema & I clear up all the time

Hi. With the eczema my dermatologist gave me I think 2% hydrocortisone. And yes please do a video of what things you are doing with Vivi with her speech. 😊 Im sick too with a 15 months old girl and almost 4 month old baby girl too 😂 And I had the same worry about the milk supply and thank you for sharing now I know I’m not alone in this. I hope you feel better soon, 😊😊 I feel that’s great about you not sharing your kids here so much, because this channel about you. And see more moms are doing the same thing😀 At first I did share few pictures of my baby on social media after that I felt convicted that I shouldn’t do that, I deleted all the pictures and I don’t share any pictures of my kids on social media. I’m not saying not to do it, but is great to have some privacy in the social media world. 😊😊 God blessed you and your family
Thank you for the tip! 🥰 also, yes you are definitely not alone! Can be tough to maintain while sick but it's a good reminder that we need to take care of ourselves too! ❤ and I love that you were obedient to the convictions you had for your family. It's a totally new world and it's so important to walk in obedience in where He's leading you!
My 14 month old and I had an awful breastfeeding experience . I eventually had to stop at 4 months because of severe ppd. I've heard the second baby is usually easier because you double the milk ducts so fingers crossed. I'm hoping for an over supply because I want to give the milk to my baby of course but also pump enough to give to my 14 month old too. I'm due with the next literally any day now. Speak some water breaking into life for me 🤣
Oh I’m so sorry 😭 breastfeeding can be such a wild ride. I had no idea that milk ducts changed between pregnancies! It’s been night and day for me though - praying for plenty of supply for you this time too!! And also praying for your labour - you’ve got this 👏🏻

Just subscribed but I had watched a few of your videos before! I have an almost three year old girl and a 2 month old baby boy. How did you transition from swaddle to sack? I never swaddled my first so I’m new at this 😅
Glad you’re here! 😘 we used the halo sleep sack and after swaddling with arms in we we just wrapped the velcro around his body instead and swaddled with arms out - it’s a nice transition before swapping to a sleep sack!
My hands get like that sooo bad postpartum. It did it with my first and again this time (my son is 3 months) and it’s still so bad and painful. Wish I knew the solution but I feel like it went away around the 6mo pp time with my first child. Interesting about the dairy though, I also cut it out during breastfeeding for at least 8 months the first time around and still now, so maybe that has something to do with it?
hey beth its torey here.. what is the spot called on the top of jude’s head? i’ve always wondered what happens when you touch jude’s head or when you push on that spot?
Hey, I’m not sure what spot you’re referring to!! All babies have a soft spot on the top of their heads that you need to be careful with in the first year but I’m not sure if that’s what you mean?
