The school system isn’t interested in what you know, it’s interested in getting that daily payout for every butt in a chair. If real knowledge were the goal we would have highly educated teachers, kids who love to read would actually be able to do it during the school day, and the curriculum wouldn’t be a dumbed down race to the bottom.
