Heyy girl, I think I like the new Aloe and olive oil hair conditioner. I’ve checked for the ingredients listing online, but couldn’t find it. Could you please let me know the ingredients listings to that hair grease.
I am loving my grease journey. I’m done with having a million different products. This worked when I was a child. Time to get back to the tried and true.
I have recently returned to my roots with the Super Sure Gro and castor oil. I have tried everything else, and I finally realize that the "old school" method is the best. I used it as a child, and my hair grew like crazy.
You should try the Blue Magic Hair Food. It moisturizes my hair for 2 weeks. I use it as a sealant along with Mega Growth Anti-Breakage Strengthener and Creme of Nature Pure Honey Moisture Whip Twisting Cream. My hair is soooo soft and it looks healthy and juicy! Thanks for reintroducing hair grease to me!
Thank you for this vid Nezi, your videos are so fun and YOU make me smile!!! I just started getting into grease, Blue Magic (Bergamot) is my favorite!!! I also like Sulfur 8! I get grease isn't for everyone but it's silly that we've turned our backs to it for so long when IT WORKS.
Glad you did the review it has assured me to stick with the blue and green blue magic! They always make my hair feel so soft especially when I dampened it and put a shower cap on it for 30 minutes
Yes Greasy Queen! I just love listening to you speak & you're so funny. I love Grease too, right now I'm using Softee Indian Hemp & ORS Castor Oil. My hubby swears by Blue Magic Coconut Oil.

I had to order the castor oil one online because my local beauty supply stores don't have it for whatever reason. In the meantime I'm using softee herbal gro right now that I got from the dollar store while I wait. Gonna finish it, but I grew up on blue magic.
Honestly, I'm so happy to see the Kokatah on this list, it's definitely one of the less popular greases, I'm sure because of the smell, but I used it mixed with sulfur years ago, along with protective styles, I saw growth. Then I cut my hair, over and over... And over. And now we're back to it.

vvh3r3swald0 I mix kokatah and the DAX 100% Lanolin together and my hair is thriving, I even stopped using gel to slick down because both greases just slick down my hair.
The blue magic with Shea butter says in the directions gently massage a small amount into the hair and scalp with the finger tips every day and after shampooing and style so I loved the video as usual Nezzi love that lipstick color
I own blue magic blue, green, coconut, super sure gro, and Indian hemp(my fave), sulfur 8(i mix with glovers mane and pine tar), and dax kocatah(my fave too).
Just ordered my Blue Magic Indian Hemp! Should be delivered tomorrow! Can't wait to try it.Thank you for the review. I've enjoyed your videos throughout the years. 💜
I had some ORS coconut oil hair dress left so I made my own concoction. I added 6 drops of vitamin e oil and 6 Jamaican black castor oil to my hair dress. I used this mixture today on my scalp. I also use Nae Nae’s Hair Boost(A black owned business); A hair and body butter that uses 19 natural oils including Shea butter, black jamaican castor oil, rosemary oil, olive oil, jojoba oil. The product is expensive but is worth it.
That Organics smells like cake I love it. My favorite is the Hair Food and new blend Blue Magic Shea Butter, then the Blue and I use the Blue Magic Aloe Vera Gel Grease on my lashes. I am a grease baby squad for life lol. Oh, F.Y.I Ladies and Gents you can order Blue Magic online at Walmart.
Yes Ma'am, I had 2 bald patches in the middle and side of my head on the right side. And baby that blue magic super grow has started filling in those patches...they where bald like I could fill my scalp but it's been 30 days and they are filling in nicely. I tried so many expensive hair growth shampoo/conditioner brands and jamaican castor oil that didn't work...I am a fan for life now...thanks so much for this video and reminding me that grease did wonders to my hair as a child and since going back to it my hair is looking better and growing
I recently strayed and tried oils oh my my scalp didn’t like it it itched and felt sore but it wasn’t ( sorry don’t know how else to explain) today I greased my scalp with Dax(green one) and used on the strands of my hair my hair feels soft in the 2 plaits I put my hair in and my scalp feels good. I’m sticking with grease for my high porosity hair oils are waaaaaay to light for me. Currently I have blue magic coconut oil, Indian hemp, sure gro, blue magic (green one), Dax Indian hemp. I don’t get why grease is deemed so bad, I don’t have issues washing it out either and I don’t use a clarifying shampoo. Not going to lie I have other brands like mielle, Camille rose but grease is always incorporated using their products.
Thank you for sharing a little piece of your oil journey. I recently loc'd my hair and I still gravitate to my hair grease vs. liquid oil. The grease works better for me, too.
Blue magic Hair Food is my favorite. The smell is not as great as the super sure gro. But it feel so good on my hair not light and not to heavy the shine last for days❤
Yes, you can use it on natural hair. I just read the information about that product, online and it sounds like a leave-in conditioner and Not a hair grease. It's probably creamy and a little greasy at the same time, but I'm not for sure, since I can't see it. It sounds like a protein treatment, since it helps strengthen the hair strands. Which means, it's a small possibility that it may make your hair a little dry or hard, especially, if you apply too much of it, on your hair. I haven't used this product in over 30 years. So, I don't know what it's like, today. I do remember not liking it, though.
Coconut oil dries out my hair as well. Our selection of hair "grease" has dwindled out here. I may have to break down and order some of these online. So far I'm addicted to your channel-- New sub 😘
Blessings sister. New subbie here. I love all the blue magic line. I have the 1st one now. For no reason I added my Haitian made castor oil to it. I do that sometimes.
Try using a little grease on damp hair, but put a moisturizer first like a spray in leave in conditioner if your hair is super fine, and then use a tiny dab of grease on your hair in sections and wear your hair pinned up in a bun or something where the ends aren't out so much. I love the blue colored Blue Magic so far. Dax is lighter in my opinion if you need something light. I hope this helps 🙂
Well, the blue magic that I showed in this video does not have menthol or tea tree oil in it, but, that Black Dax is great for an itchy scalp, because, of it's ingredients. Now, you can use a medicated shampoo that has anti itch ingredients it. Just apply it to your scalp and let it sit for about 10 minutes or so. Then moisturize your hair and apply any Blue Magic Hair Grease on your scalp or on your hair, only. Some, naturals, don't like putting hair grease on their scalp. Also, don't shampoo your hair with hot water. Use warm or lukewarm water instead. Hot water dries out your scalp really bad and remember to use cool water to rinse out your conditioner.
Hi, Kimberly. I haven't tried it in a very long time, but, I know it is a good old school grease, that is great for a press and curl. OMG! I sound old! 😂
Luv the hair girl! That blue is poppin!!! I watched one of ur old videos the other day, u was using wave nuaveau. What made u stop using it? I want to try that with the blue magic. Me and coconut oil on my hair is trying too.
Thank you, girl! I still have a little left and may finish it up this summer. I stopped using it, because it only works well in the warm months. Meaning, by it being an humectant that draws moisture to my hair when it's warm, it makes my hair feel soft and moisturized. In the cold months, it makes my hair feel hard and dry. Once I finish my bottle, I won't buy it, anymore, because I have new moisturizer I like alot better.
Heyo! I discovered the reason why my hair always feels dry is because I have low porosity hair. I've tried researching videos on how to go about adding moisture to low porosity hair and it says use heat but I don't know how to go about doing it. Should I warm up my moisturizers? Do I keep using hair grease or is too heavy?
I wouldn't warm up the moisturizers, spritzing your hair with hot water first before applying products to your hair and deep conditioning once a week under a heating cap or just a plain cap with a hot towel around it will make a huge difference! Hair grease isn't too heavy for low porosity, just don't over-do it (but that goes with anything!). Grease is a sealant so as long as you properly moisturize your hair before using it as your last step, you'll be good! Doing all this, my hair hasn't been dry since!
No, you don't have to warm up your moisturizer. I'm not familiar with the porosity level method, but, if you are told to use heat, then maybe apply a deep conditioner onto your hair, place a satin cap on top and sit under a hair dryer or do it while you are in the shower. That way, the steamed heat can penetrate through the cap. Then, rinse out the conditioner with cool water. As far as the grease, you will have to make that decision. See if somebody you know has some and then put it on your hair, to see if you like it or not. That way, you don't have to waste money.
Hello! I'm a new follower! I've returned natural for 6 years now but I don't really know how to take care of my 4c hair. Plus I had some senegalese twist on december 2018 and I lost all my back hair and it's still not growing. I wanted to know if this products are good for all types of hair (low/high porosity)? (Sorry for my english)
Hi, Faty! Thank you for being a new subscriber! Yes, this product is great for 4 type hair, but I don't if it is great for all hair types. Sounds like you have Traction Alopecia and I experienced that, too. Oh I guess that's the problem I'll try to treat it! It is harder for me because I live in Italy, here you don't have the chance to see a hairdresser for black people or black skin/hair care products..
@@lindajames76Oh, okay. You live in a warm climate. Yes, putting it in the refrigerator is a good idea. The refrigerator will keep it solid. It will melt to the touch of your warm fingers when you use it. Or let it sit for about 10-20 minutes outside of the refrigerator, to soften, before use.
Now you make me wanna go buy the BM Indian Hemp one. 😩🤣 But I won't because I have a Indian Hemp grease, but it's from the "Wonder Gro" brand. I have told myself to not buy any more hair grease until I finish up my current stash. I have about 7, and 4 of those haven't been used yet. 😂😂😂😂 uh oh I think I've become a hair grease product junky. 😂😂
I know what you mean. It can be addictive, buying all of those hair greases. I have a collection of hair grease and I don't see anything wrong with it. If you are a collector of hair products, like I am, don't feel guilty. Just buy it. We like what we like. My hair is locked up, now and I still won't get rid of my favorite loose-natural hair products. 😁
The original Blue Magic hands down. Hold on....i forgot about Dax Lanolin. Anything with lanolin in the top five ingredients. I want to retry Softee mango butter and Royal Crown.
Out of my collection, I suggest the Dax Kokotah (Black Grease) for itchy dry scalp, because it has ingredients that focuses on that matter. For dry hair, moisturizers, are perfect for adding moisture to our hair. Hair grease won't moisturize your hair, because, it's not water based. Hair grease is great for sealing the moisture in to our hair strands. My favorite moisturizer is by Motions, but, there other moisturizers that does a great job, as well.
@@NeziNappsakaNezi I combed out my locs, so I’ve been going back to grease and looking at your video tips, you’re informative and hilarious 🤣 my granny used to give me Dax bergamot and the pine tar grease when I had my Jheri curl, really good grease
@@nyobetanner7662 I'm happy you enjoy my crazy greasy baby videos. 🙂 I didn't know about the pine tar grease at that time, unless, I forgot, but I love it now. Do they have petroleum in them, I heard it's bad for your scalp, I rather the shea butter, or natural oils. Who make the products anyways. Just asking.
Grease is pretty much petrolatum based, nothing wrong with it, people were just using it as a moisturiser before we heard of moisturising and sealing. My jar says J. Strickland & Co. Olive Brand, MS 38654, USA
That foolishness one of the longest grease around which is Vaseline has petroleum has bee around for 100 years...great for skin and hair...do you research the petroleum use in hair grease is very refined and does not damage to your hair or scalp

Use heat just means to wear a cap or a steamer when you are deep conditioning.... It allows the products to penetrate better
The coconut oil one doesn’t have lanolin in it😉
Here's a playlist of my videos, if your interestedth-cam.com/play/PLzrI3pPrrCi3-QOHPy7KNsIq5pQGcF8cP.html Look up Traction Alopecia, to learn more.
@@NeziNappsakaNezi Thank you so so much for replying! I'm going to watch your playlist for sure, I really need help so.. every suggestion is accepted. Oh I guess that's the problem I'll try to treat it! It is harder for me because I live in Italy, here you don't have the chance to see a hairdresser for black people or black skin/hair care products..
@@fatyn.8035 Oh, wowzers! I didn't know that it is hard to find black hairdressers and hair/skin care products, there. You're so welcome!
@@NeziNappsakaNezi yes it is unluckily.. but thank you again your videos are very helpful! Continue the good job! 😘
My mom has a DAX KOCATAH there so long it's very water
unny I don't know if it's safe to use can i ?
I don't know. Check to see if there's an expiration date on the jar. It shouldn't be runny, unless, it's in a warm or hot area.
@@NeziNappsakaNezi the year it is expiring is 2025 and should I put it in the fridge cuz I do live in the Caribbean
@@NeziNappsakaNezi thank you so much
@@lindajames76 you're
@@NeziNappsakaNezi 😊
The original Blue Magic hands down. Hold on....i forgot about Dax Lanolin. Anything with lanolin in the top five ingredients.
I want to retry Softee mango butter and Royal Crown.
Yeah the blue Blue Magic is my favorite but now I'm hearing Dax is the business. I don't remember ever using Dax even growing up.
Boo! I have your number 1 & 8 greasy babies rule😜
Hey, Greasy Baby! We are greasy sisters!😁
You are so beautiful, like my sister❤❤❤
Aw, thank you so much. Such a kind comment. 😘🤗
Hey Nezi!!! 👋🏽😘
Hey, girl! Happy Friday 2u!
NeziNapps akaNeziTV same to you my love, have a great day! 😘
Lol I'm watching you on my TV but had to come comment on my phone on TH-cam...the Indian hemp on amazon says originals and yours says organics😮
Uh, oh! I don't know what happened.
Girl you gone be glistening for days wit all that grease on your arms lol
Which do you suggest for dry and itchy scalp and also dry hair?
Out of my collection, I suggest the Dax Kokotah (Black Grease) for itchy dry scalp, because it has ingredients that focuses on that matter. For dry hair, moisturizers, are perfect for adding moisture to our hair. Hair grease won't moisturize your hair, because, it's not water based. Hair grease is great for sealing the moisture in to our hair strands. My favorite moisturizer is by Motions, but, there other moisturizers that does a great job, as well.
Crying at booty peppers 😂
😁
@@NeziNappsakaNezi I combed out my locs, so I’ve been going back to grease and looking at your video tips, you’re informative and hilarious 🤣 my granny used to give me Dax bergamot and the pine tar grease when I had my Jheri curl, really good grease
@@nyobetanner7662 I'm happy you enjoy my crazy greasy baby videos. 🙂 I didn't know about the pine tar grease at that time, unless, I forgot, but I love it now. When I was a loose natural, it was least favorite, but it fits me, perfectly, today. Granny knew what she was doing to your hair. She moisturized and sealed in all that good juice on your strands. Than you for your comments.
@@NeziNappsakaNezi you’re welcome! Granny was right w the grease science, even greasing my scalp with the blue magic. The pine tar helped with my dry scalp and itchiness -same color as kocatah. I might try kocatah lightly on my child’s scalp for itchy locs. I’m also following your loc chronicles too. Keep up the journey! Hope you and Niko are doing well ❤️
Why do you switch your grease
I like variety and to have plenty. No particular reason.
I like variety also ...at least you know which ones work best with your hair type
Thanks for making me bark to grease im soo crazy about them
😂😂😂When she smelled the Dax😅
😁😁🫠
