Great advice Amber ..as you said "body changes" ..i never used a sholder rest years ago ..but now i need 1 ..Thanks ..have a great week and stay healthy .. :)
It would be nice if you could do videos going over the notes for all positions ...especially like the first four position we should learn bc I know the learning order of all seven positions is not recommended in sequential number order....Thank you. PS I am interested in the viola positions.
I'm looking at the shoulders of everyone else and they seem almost like a straight line -------- I'm looking at mine in the mirror and all I can see is an upside V: /\ And then I'm looking at my face and I'm observing myself being very angry at the kun shoulder rest, haha, as I then I feel disappointed that it won't do for me. Although, the bonmusica is on it's way! :D Interesting to see the setup of the Kun shoulder rest. I think I've tried everything with regards to width and height setup for the Kun. At the end, it still slips from underneath or I've to really force my jaw inside the chin rest (which is awful and I'm changing it too) in order to even try to keep it a bit (also making me raise my shoulder when I get tired [like in 3 seconds, haha]). Anyhow! Long comment, short: this was a very helpful video nonetheless. I definitely recommend adding some material that's abrasive to put some resistance to the Kun's (very good and comfortable, nonetheless) material to prevent it from sliding. :+1:
