I am going from Perth to Bangkok on the 787-8 but I have a fear of flying would you have any tips
Apparently the video poster is too good to offer you advice
Sit at the seat furthest away from window and think that flying is safer than cars and chew gum so your ears wont hurt
boom 1024 Or perhaps doesn’t have any particular expertise in the psychology of fear.
Do some people speak English over there. I want to visit Bangkok but I don’t speak Thai
Most people can communicate in simple English :)
@@ExpressFlyer thanks you
The quality of the video itself is exceptional and Jayden obviously is using some excellent equipment. But the area around Bangkok reminds me a lot of that around Atlanta in the sense that it boring. There is not much by way of diversity to keep the view interesting. There is a lot of "cloud surfing" in the video, which is always fun to view, but for the first half of the video, that is about all there is to anticipate. However, around 13:00, the pilot cranks the flaps all the way down. Then, I was able to see the counter opposing physical forces on the wings emerge and how the control surfaces reacted so quickly to maintain level flight all the way to touchdown. Regardless, I still appreciate Jayden taking the time to edit and post this portion of his flight and by no means blame him because there is not a great deal to see on an approach into Bangkok.
Thanks for your comment Guerry! Yeah haha all the high rises in Bangkok are quite far away from Suvarnabhumi airport. I'm not sure but I think landing into the old airport, Don Mueang, which is still in use by the way, may provide passengers with a great skyline or Bangkok river view.
Night time landing has a better view
