I love the imagery and metaphors in this song. "Circles they grow til they swallow people whole" "Everyone I come across in cages they bought" "Consider me a satellite forever orbiting" Those are my favorite lines. =)

i remember reading the article years ago in outside magazine and ,later on, had to read the whole story in the book . its twice as amazing to realize that it is true...looking forward to the film...and the soundtrack isn't sounding too shabby either. well done.
It was AWESOME finding out Vedder was doing the soundtrack for Into the Wild. My favorite book, my favorite singer, and my favorite movie all fitting nicely together into one big favorite fest. XD

he just kicks ass, and he does so many things for others but does not need to show the world as in Bono,he is so generous of heart and soul. A really special person that has touched so many hearts. Amazingly if you are down and out his songs help, if you are happy listening to his lyrics makes you happier , simply perfect no doubt.
