For such a big SUV this thing is insanley fast. I have the same exact model with the full performance package and I habe to say, pedal to the floor throws my head back into the seat hard. Absolutely love this SUV. Not to.mention its super comfortable and loaded with tech that makes driving simple and comfortable.
First, the 2.3T is more in the low to mid 6's depending on elevation and whatnot. Second, the ST will actually do 0-60 as quick as 5.2 given perfect conditions. This video is a terrible example of what the ST will do.

Kind of weird though that by 2023 they hadn't changed out the iPad for something more ergonomic. I'm not hating because I own one and think it's an awesome car even with the iPad.
How is your explorer st treating you?? Got rid of mine since it had to many issues from the flex pipe rattle with the tsb from ford saying to put hose clamps on there to calm the noise instead of replacing them and that dreaded back up camera glitch with the blue screen still happening after taking it in the dealer
@Mohammed Udwan 2020 ford explorer st must be why most of the time it's best to buy a car a year after they come out and work out any glitches but during covid prices were low and was a great deal 60k sticker price for only 54 out the door

You can get sub 3 second on bolt ons/tune… tho the torque maxs the tranny out with this done.. Upgrade the trans and FBO with some meth gets you in the 10s and sub 3 consistently. These things are absolute monsters…
It's faster then that with premium fuel, a proper break in period and I bet the drivetrain isn't warmed up either in this video. You can switch it to tow haul to see a transmission temp gauge
Why film a 0-60 letting the car do all of the work. It’s much quicker using the paddle shifters as you can keep the car in the powerband, rev 1st out to 4-5k and keep the shifts in that same range and you should get a 5.1-5.2.
@@PorscheFan89 they do a lot better than that lol. Fords carb legal tune adds 30 hp on pump 91. A protune alone would add around 50-60hp. A larger intercooler and an e50 tune adds around 150 hp. Exhaust, intercooler intake and e85 should put down 500whp.
I don’t get why they didn’t flip the screen to its side. It would’ve been way better and practically very useful (everything looks forcefully smudged into the screen). Look at the interior design of let’s say a 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum compared to whatever this is..

I've owned three vehicles in my entire life, and they've all been Ford Explorers 😂 Had a 1992, a 2006, and now a 2015. They were all fantastic vehicles, never had any major problems with any of them, but then, I'm pretty stringent about maintenance so the slightest abnormality, they were up on the rack.
