What to take away from this: Reviews are personalized as everyone's experience is different, they can overexaggerate on both negatives and positives. 50% off on pizza is a great promotion, and nosebleeds seats are hit-or-miss.
As a wolves fan I love target center bc of the team identity and feel, you nailed it with that comparison

As someone who is from mn and goes to quite a few nba games, including a lot in target center, I was super confused to see it be a 1 star because it was the second best stadium I’ve ever been in

Rockets Fan here, I've been to ~10 games a season for the past 5 years. Upper bowl in Toyota center is such a crap experience overall, food is worse somehow, lines much longer, seats WAY worse. If you do go to the arena, you basically HAVE to get lower bowl, which usually is a great experience. Its a night and day difference.

Capital One Arena is a good arena. Great atmosphere. I've been numerous times as a local and never had any issues. People either don't read or over exaggerate.

A little late here but growing up going to the capital one arena formally known as the Verizon center was always a treat! Back in the arenas days then again will Wall. Best thing is the cheap seats! Lol

Wish you went to a Suns home game back in 2017. The beer is flat, they got hard buns, and the chips are stale. They serve cold nachos, instead of jalapenos they put pickles on top.

I'm not a big NBA person, but I went to a Pacers game last month and they took the water bottle cap too, saying people were throwing them at players. Has that actually happened? Surely it would've been on espn.

Capital One is average - there’s not much to do inside the stadium and the fan experience can be basic; however, it’s super convenient and easy to get to via public transportation.

I’m a Rockets fan, so I frequently go to the Toyota Center.
I remember there was this one time where I was going to order food, and I saw a sign saying they were serving “Parmigiana Fries” for 9$. so I thought they were fries that were submerged with garlic parmigiana type sauce, but long story short, that gave me a SMALL tray, with just PLAIN fries with a PINCH of parmigiana. Needless to say, that’s when I realized that I basically got scammed. 😢
I’ve been to Capital One Arena & Target Center. I currently live in DC. I was a season ticket holder for KAT’s rookie season in Minnesota.
I’m not tryna be bias just because I support the rockets but the cup holders are behind the seats so everybody just puts it in the seat in front of it and the food is pretty good

I've only been to target center and fizerv forum, but in my experience the target center wasnt the flashiest but I've been there probably 10+ times for concerts and other events and a game and have had great experiences every time

The Target Center was built in 1990, so yeah a 34 year old arena that has seen its share of renovation over the years. Still a great venue though
If you go hours before the game starts, just as the doors open it isnt as good test of how long it takes to get in during the normal arrival times of most fans.

As a german sportsfan it's so funny to see how much attention you spend on chairs and cupholders or food 😅 If i go to a game, i would never buy seating ticket. Also my season ticket for our ice hockey team is a standing ticket. I visit the stadium to support my team. I don't care about chickenwings and co., the only thing I need is a cold beer, so I can support my team the whole game!
