What Marouff is doing against the block is just not even fair you don't know if he is going to the wing, opposite, c or pipe , best setter in the world hands down.
Iran had a really good run until quarters. If im not mistaken in 2019, they were 5th placer. Fell short to Poland and Brazil on the same pool during semis. But this roster really worked well for them
Iran played very well but this was not a top Russian side. Russia, France, USA, Brazil, Italy & Iran will probably be in the finals when all countries will bring their top guns. But well done to Iran, far better than 2018 which was just so bad.

Why isnt any team ive seen so far playing with its best players? Russia, Italy, France, USA, brazil dont use many of their main players and iran is getting overhyped by winning vs secondary teams
You're right. Many of the teams (men and women) are using secondary and backup players in VNL tournaments to see how they perform. Good example is Poland "A" team lost to Iran in earlier rounds. But Poland "B" team defeated the same Iran team in final rounds. Similar results with China women "A" team which struggle and barely beat Italy once, and lost twice to Italy previously. But China women "B" team beat the same Italian team fairly easily. It looks like the coaches want to see how well these secondary and backup players perform in real games. Why? Maybe it's for preparation for the 2020 Olympics.
@@aidangayadeen4186 No, I like the enthusiasm for their Team. I just dislike the way, they try to disturb the ennemy and (as I think) giving them no respect. That may is common in many other sports but I hate to see it in mine:)
