I always forget that I can just paint for fun .... that it doesn't have to be a finished piece of artwork. Not that my art is ever "finished". 🤪

Your teaching style is very effective. I’m a beginner but I understand the value in just painting. You do actually learn a lot. It’s a process that’s hard to explain.

As the "All paintings has to be finished and perfect" comes naturally to most beginners, same way will come the opposite, when they'll realize that going forward takes practicing and practicing has a lot of testing, trying different things, as also many mistakes.
Without mistakes, you won't learn, without practicing you won't learn.
Experimenting has the same fun as a finished and polished work of art.
And don't forget, there is not mistakes, it's some little happy accidents!! Keep painting, you can reach the top!!

I always try to remember what Liron said😁 ...always great lessons from you. I wish I could always remember to do what you say and what you show us. Maybe I need to take notes from now on. I swatch alot so I guess jotting down notes there with the swatched paint will help. Thanks so much

I just want to say thankyou so much for making these videos and posting them. Im a beginner in watercolor, and they truly help me understand the medium and paint freely so much. Best channel I’ve come across on TH-cam!

I very much like your teaching style, it does take a bit to get used to. It will benefit me to watch it again as after going through once I gradually get an understanding of what you are trying to do.

Fantastic as always, thank you! Your videos have really encouraged me to just spend more time playing around with watercolor (I've been doing a bunch of quick people studies recently) and it has made all of my art more fun. Please take all the time you need for other life things! We appreciate all you do

The problem I've found is I will try to "just paint" and I realized I'm not on that level yet. I need to have a plan, I hope to paint well enough someday to be able to do it

As a total beginner I’m confusing myself going from vid to vid, not practicing enough on one thing to actually “get it.” My problem is that since I used to be at a high level as a professional musician it’s just..hard to fail as a beginner..it’s kind of hard to just enjoy it, and I should I know, even the failures..now I’ve seen Temerev’s clouds, and I’d love to learn that!

I should’ve said how much I appreciate you and the other painters for sharing their love of the art..I just found Joe Cartwright, super, down to earth guy with some basic beginner instruction, I’m trying to go through his stuff now too, maybe apply myself in a bit more organized, diligent fashion..I’m blown away by your introduction to masters series..

I gained so much from your critique, Liron. I’ve looked at those paintings for a long time and never noticed the beach and the angle from the view point of being flatter and then the angle of the birds. And I noticed in this video you mention the angle for the beach scene… Also, I’m wondering if you would consider having a one time donation on your patreon ? A lot of TH-camrs have a Patreon page but not a one time donation button. I watch several ppl .. anyway, just a thought. Life is a wonderful journey full exploration and sometimes bumpy and unclear. Follow your heart.👩‍🎨🐴👩‍🌾
