- This video closes the pre-Covid chapter of my round the world trip. The footage is from my last days in South Africa in March 2020, which I spent with Aga and Artur - a Polish couple who rode down through the east coast of Africa and we've been friends since then. I miss this overlanding freedom
In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.

I sincerely hope the operation went well, best to fix it now. I've broken a couple of bones on my motorcycles and now that I am at senior years it has come back to bite me on the bum.

Great adventure episode you have here. Hope you had a very successful surgery. I am glad you have a very positive view of Africa unlike your polish friends who could only remember seeing so many 'stupid people'. In Africa we say that when you visit a home carry back with you mostly the positives. You are such an amazing soul. Sorry, in my last comment on your trip, I think is West Africa, I insinuated that you are from Germany. An Aussie indeed, with Polish blood. All the best in your up-coming adventures.

I really like your adventures, but I have to say I liked it much better when you were in Asia! The open spaces, the adventure just looked more fun. So many vloggers are doing Africa now it's not as fun to watch. When are you planning South America? That looks more remote, and adventurous
