    1 of my favorite snakes ever! I prefer the name of Twig Snake or Bird Snake because Vine Snake can make people think it's non venomous when it's the complete opposite 😂

    What's interesting about these 4 species is that the venom toxicity, type and yield probably varies by the natural selective pressure and prey items. Similar to the species of Black Mamba. Always enjoy your content and the various interesting snakes of South Africa.

      I’m sure that there is variation in the toxicology of each species and then even within each species from different localities. Super interesting study to be done 🐍

    Boomslang is still my fav but this venom seems to be just as bad.

      Both very cool snake, but the vine snake is something special, I love cryptically colored snakes. Kings of camouflage
