    Thanks for the video! It was clear and easy to follow. I've had this printer since about 2015 or so. It's now midway through 2023. During those years, I've always had at least one other printer to go along with this wonderful laser. Why? Color. If all I needed was b/w I would choose this one, hands down! I've also been through several desktop and laptop computers. The ONLY machine that keeps on truckin' is this one! I love it! And I love your instructions for an easy install.

    After 5 years my 6030 stopped responding even with USB direct connection. I downloaded the drivers and thought I installed them correctly but to no avail. After pulling out a bit of hair I found this video and it took me over the last hurdle. Thanks very much.

    Thank you so much! After installing using the Canon website instructions & the WPS button, I was having an issue with wifi printing where my printer was on, blue wifi light was solid, but I would get "error code 45", "status not connected", and/or print jobs simply being stuck in queue. Windows troubleshoot didn't detect anything wrong (of course), so I just decided to uninstall. As a last-ditch effort, I re-installed following this video and I can finally _print wirelessly!_ NOTE: I had to repeat the steps from 2:45 - 3:20 _multiple times_ before it finally detected my network.

    We set up our printer relatively easy. Just a learning curve from setting up other printer but I love how it stays in sync and tells me what if any issues it's having. Had mines for about a week now. Use it for printing monochrome business labels for products.

      I've had my LBP6030w for over 7 years and it's held up under heavy use. I don't use it as much now that I'm retired. It's outlasted desktops, laptops, and 4 other printers in that time.💙

    Had a couple issues with finding it on th network. If you plug in before installing drivers it may get the wrong drivers and not work right. Remove device. Found the IP address through my internet app and then it was found

    I just got this printer. Wish it was an easier setup. I do not have a cd rom on any of my laptops. So I decided to plug and play thinking it would be that easy! Boy was I wrong! I guess it installed the wrong drivers idk to be honest. So I uninstalled, then reinstalled the drivers from the Canon website. Haven’t tried printing wirelessly yet but I plugged in the usb cord and it printed! Nice and clear! Thank God because I was ready to throw it out the window lol

    boom! Got it to work! When I would search for my printer during the driver bootup installation process, the program could not find my printer. However, I inputted my printer's ip using the 'manual search ip address' box on the top right hand and boom the program found my printer. Tried the test page and it printed wirelessly.

    finished the network setup, and wen i try to install the printer. it cannot detect my printer. I tries this with and without usb

    My new printer's model (6030w) does not appear on the list. One Canon link brought me to an "Oops!" (missing page) error. My network sees the printer, but it will not print. From the computer, I see it spool, then goes to "error printing;" from the phone it remains in "printing" status.

    I get to 4.31 of the video and pick on standard printer set up. There is not an option to add more printer. I click next, and it does not find my printer during the search. Now what?

    Hey so I tried this 5 separate times but each time I unplug the USB from my laptop it changes the printer status to offline. All the tests show my printer is online but for some reason I cannot get it to print unless I plug it into my computer

      Hi! Your printer may still be able to use Wi-Fi even if it doesn't have a LAN port. You can use the video above to guide you through the wireless setup if you've got any of the three models featured in it, and if you have a different model, be sure to check its manual or search our TH-cam channel for information on how to get it connected wirelessly.

    The issue is most of us are running modern 5ghz wireless A/C networks. This thing only runs on B/G/N 2.4ghz networks. Should be made VERY clear to consumers before we buy something like this in 2023. You should issue rebates to users who cannot use the wireless functionality due to it being deprecated for use in 2023.

      Like there is no reason this shouldnt have an interface to switch between radio bands allowing me to select a 5g band based on my network preferences.

      My printer is hooked up through a 2.4 and 5 deco network. I can wi-fi print from my phone but the computer always shows the printer as offline.

      I used this video for the 2nd setup.. it was pretty much automatic the 1st time and I was able to do it with my phone only and the USB cable went to the gateway.. but the 2nd time I needed this vid

      @@CanonUSA here's the issue - ya'll still selling printers running exclusively on 2.4ghz networks like its 2001. Most of us are running A/C networks. I won't run a 2.4ghz network just to have wireless printing. You should give us a rebate on this because its wireless tech is highly deprecated in 2023.
