I think they were appreciating the moment to be able to take a photo with one of modern musics most influential and inspiring artist that will probably go down in history.
He seems to be the most responsive to those who ask him real life questions like how he is doing, how was his Thanksgiving, etc vs those who want a photo or signature. I think it's about where the question is coming from. If it's said with a real care for the person that's in front of them, then obviously it's responded to well....
So many people start interacting with the person they think that they are, and they miss getting to interact with who they actually are... It means people treat them so poorly, because they have no sensitivity to their current feelings, they're always talking to a past version of that person that they think they know and still exists.

He's so misunderstood and hated for no reason, when there's much more proof in his actions that he's a really good guy who cares about people. Yeah, he has flipped out on paparazzi before, but look at how they're treating him: like a fucking inanimate object in a museum. He has grown to control himself very well, but I'd pay to see how frequently the average non-famous person would lose their minds in response to this kind of behavior.
Asking about his thanksgiving is the only moment of ye giving any sort of genuine response. it shows the vanity vs humanity relationship…see all these people only want pics of them and ye to show and impress the people around them. They are obsessed with the wrong ideals completely. Ye is human, he knows this. very. well. however the only part of this entire video when he was being treated as such instead of just another reason to post on ig, was at the very end.
