Shadow Calyrex Pokédex entry says “Legend says that by using its power to see all events from past to future, this Pokémon saved the creatures of a forest from a meteorite strike.” Might be a reason why fossil Pokémon’s didn’t die in the Crown Tundra, that’s why they remain roaming.

Man... that seems like a missed opportunity to have the non-abomination, normal Galar fossil 'mons added with CT.
And yeah, by our standards of intelligence that wouldn't make sense. Like, why would people not recognize these are the ACTUAL fossil Pokemon and not the ones you get by mixing fossils? But then again, the Pokemon world, despite being technologically impressive, is full of freakin' morons!

@@tristianisgaming9302 I both agree and disagree with you on that. 1 cuase Merlin is good hence why i chose Alakazam. Galarian Slowking looks evil and would fit some other type of wizard or sorcerer type character.
Then again Alakazam has a stache and Merlin has facial hair or is depicted to have facial hair my other reason for picking Alakazam but i guess in some ways i do see why you would pick Galarian Slowking over Alakazam.

They should give Galarian Slowking a hidden ability where it is like cursed body, but instead of disabling a move it locks the opponent into using only that move (opponent is encored upon a physical attack 50% of the time).

They should have made galar forms of cloyster and shelder aswell because in my opinion there is no point in changing how shelder looks for galar slowbro and slowking
I think the Pokedex says it's Mareanie for the Galar line, hence why they're poison types

@@Rain-sr3km there isn’t more than one calyrex. You just have to have the entry for the ghost type horse version of him, instead of the ice.

i love this because slowpoke is my favourite pokemon
I like to think, real world time applies to the time between gen 1 and gen 8. That makes it my head cannon that the fossil program started in gen 1 succeeded. Now 25 years later scientists have managed to reintroduce long gone pokemon to the wild. I approve
Slowbro can learn: Flame thrower, calm mind, fire blast, Blizzard ice beam(I think) and earthquake.
He can survive big damage and heal himself.
The question is: why is he not a legendary?

Galarian Slowbro is OP as shit. Mine is Max HP, Max special attack, Calm nature with quick draw and quick claw. I have forced so many baby bottles with that set 😆

To answer your question, I don't really like how fossils walk around in the Crown tundra. It kind of makes the fact fossils are only able to be used by reviving them feel useless and also fossils restoration places shouldn't exist if they still are just existing in the Crown tundra. If they explained it, like having a big fossil restoration facility or something nearby and sometimes the fossils escape or they release them, itd be fine. It just doesn't sit right with me how creatures that were supposed to be long extinct are just walking around presumably without being revived. I also feel the same about legendary beings all just chilling in a cave.

Here’s a challenge I don’t think I’ve seen anyone use yet - 6 Pokémon, they can be whatever type, can use whatever moves - as long as all 6 Pokémon run all the same moves and all the same items. So if your set is Earthquake, Surf, Thunder, and Toxic, with Leftovers - then all 6 Pokémon have to have those 4 moves with Leftovers. Should be creative, right?

To be honest this was a Highly potential Galarian slowbro SWEEP
I personally like the lore they had with Calyrex apparently saving Pokemon from a meteor strike (implying a link to Eternatus crashing in the Galar region 20,000 years ago). But what if Calyrex has existed for EVEN LONGER and has prevented many Pokemon from going extinct, including fossil Pokemon, multiple times? That makes the inclusion of fossil Pokemon cool!
BUT there was always that theory that fossil Pokemon were all part rock-type (until this generation) due to the regeneration process reviving them from a fossil and I feel like they missed an opportunity to include a few Galarian forms of some of the fossil Pokemon in CT if they're not revived from fossils (or descendants of those that were).
Also, I guess Tyrantrum implies the fossil Pokemon are descendants of those that were revived and released because they've implied in Ultra Sun Tyrantrum should have a feather-like coat if it could be completely restored properly... so there are holes in the implications/theory of ANY of these fossil Pokemon not being restored from fossils.
Oh well... easy come, easy go.

I haven't played Pokemon since Ruby/sapphire, but I've been watching Pimpnite battles for a few months now. He makes me want to get back into it. Where do you recommend I start?
Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire would be familiar enough that you'd pick it up easy while still giving new content, and Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon are interesting. Both of those sets are for the 3DS, if you have a Switch your options are Let's Go Eevee/Pikachu or Sword/Shield.

@@christopherroscoe145 3DS has been out longer, so it'd probably be cheaper, but more people are probably playing on the Switch since it has the newer games, which you'll want for trading and battling.
