As the story goes both the Roma and the MC20 were designed in Modena Italy. Ferrari designers worked on the MC20 while Maserati guys were busy doing the Roma. And then at some point they switched designs with each other. Maybe its a fairytale but I really love the MC20 over the Roma. The MC20 is up there - at least regarding design. Last spring I was lucky enough to test drive one in Denmark for an hour. It was glorious. Best / Peter

Very raw and go kart feeling but also able to do longer trips in gt mode. Even at under 300k it feels like a bargain tbh. much rather have this than the porsche turbo or huracan, which i did use to own.
Drove a Maserati MC20 flat out around a track. AWESOME car and looks incredible. Engine doesn’t have as much character as other options but it handles really well with tons of power.

MC20 should not be compared to the NSX. Its got a full carbon fiber monocoque chassis, 100 more horsepower, and is way more special. Different leagues.
for $250k you have a few interesting options MC20 C8 Z06 Z07 Murcielago Gallardo 5.2 Huracan 580 or 610 992 GT3 Cayman GT4 RS 720S I know there's many others but what would you pick for the money?
Surely first impressions count, and Ale has a lot of cars in his history to compare, but I am not sure that short drive will tell anything meaningful about the car itself. From what I've gathered people want to like this car when they get in it, but are quickly disappointed when they push on and get no emotions from it. Also, the trunk/frunk is comparable to an SF90's, making it absolutely impractical for those long road trips it may have excelled on otherwise.
The problem is that these are going for the same price as the 720s. The 720 is the better car. $150k is a solid price point...I think you hit the nail on the head.

I think most people like it, but love many other cars in that price range more. There is a small group of people who are obsessed though.

Exactly the dealership near me in panhandle of Florida has a black on and they want 320K. It has lots of options but it is over $100K overpriced.
