A kick ass love song!
I really dig the drums in this one.
The harmonies leading into Dany's final belt gets me every time. It sounds sooooo good to my ears.
EDIT: Pau was really sick at this performance. A doctor had to give her a dose of steroids just so she could perform. But, anyone that knows her could tell that the steroids can only do so much. In this song, in particular, she didn't join in the final harmonies. I also noticed she omitted some singing parts in other songs performed at Pepsi Center. But, being the trooper she is, she performed well. She also sang the song that she said she never would live, "Breathe". I hope they add that song to the Pepsi Center songs they are dropping.
They've just released Black Holes. . . . . . yeah I think Breathe will be next 😝
Well, if you can deal with a fan cam, Pau has set up her own phone to stream live many times over the last few years. Some are flat out amazing to watch her do her thing from that view. She has done complete sets for us. She streams to IG, but TWA shares them on YT.

Howzit going Joel. Really enjoying the comparison videos side by side (your initial Teatro reactions vs the new Pepsi reactions). What a difference a year can make.
Teatro 2022 was their Eureka moment - their 'We made it' moment. Many believe that this concert was superb, the pinnacle of audio and video for them. Sure they may have better performances of some songs (although the Teatro song performances are all top notch), but the quality of the audio and the video are lacking. Teatro Met 2022 has been the 'go to' concert of The Warning when suggesting songs to reactors, friends, people who don't know them, just as Lunario 2018 is the 'go to' concert for Queen of the Murder Scene album.
PEPSI said 'Hold my beer'. I don't think I've heard 1 track from the official releases that is lacking. Excellent sound, video (and PauCam😁) coupled with the backdrop (of screens), the energy, and the stage work of DPA. Dany's stage presence is so very visible in this concert, and here we see her 'love hearting' the audience, and interacting with the audience with her gestures throughout the performance.
This is 1 year later. And the improvement off all 3 sisters shows. The fact that they were also ill highlights their professionalism. For the majority of fans (myself included), Pepsi has always been there, unseen and lurking around in the form of fan vids and compilations. Now as its becoming released (a track every few days), we can see the concert in its full glory, DPA in full swing as the performers we know them to be, and favorite tracks transformed (some in reality) by the surrounds. Massive thanks and Kudos to The Warning, their support crew and their management.
This is a big audience. The most amazing thing is how clear their voices are. DPA once mentioned the greatest honour, probably the greatest thrill of performing is hearing their songs sang back to them (paraphrased as I can't remember the exact wording) and here this happens . . . in spades. Not just Amour but all the songs from this concert. Choke - the audience sang 90% of the intro without Dany as she held the mic and watched with a massive smile on her face. Here - French - the entire verse sang by the audience, in French. A predominately Mexican crowd singing in French. Loudly.
Should The Warning ever release the concert in its entirety (like they have with Teatro and Lunario among others), Pepsi will be the new standard. For me, my one hope is that they do release live CD/DVDs of these concerts. Each is brilliant in their own unique way, mistakes and all.

It would be interesting to see three versions, one each: a Pau cam, Ale cam, and Dany cam. Even if just for one song. I'm sure the recording exists from the Pepsi Center show for at least Pau because it was done a bit differently than the Teatro show. They had stationary cameras for each one of the ladies, but with Ale and Dany moving around, I'm not sure they have footage of a complete song.

The drumming is the least favourite of what I like about them but if you are a Pau fan then a drum cam would be great.
