- This is the very first part of Kedarnath travel series, which we made till to Rudraprayag, you will se amazing weather all around, we have explored the complete route from kotdwar to Rudraprayag, where we have visited two very popular sacred places in Uttrakhand, these are Dhari Devi in Srinagar and Koteshwar Mahadev in Rudraprayag.

Dhari Devi Srinagar: On the banks of the Alaknanda River, the holy temple of Goddess Dhari Devi is located between Srinagar and Rudraprayag.
She is considered to be the guardian deity of Uttarakhand and is revered as the protector of the Char Dham’s

Koteshwar Mahadev: Temple is a sacred place and temple of Lord Shiva on the holy bank of Alaknanda river. Located near the Rudraprayag town,
Koteshwar Mahadev Temple is in a cave and river is flowing from just few meters away Koteshwar Mahadev, The location is presumed to be the spot where Lord Shiva had stopped for meditation on his way to Kedarnath.
According to local mythology the temple has existed since the time of Bhasmasura.

After completing this series in 2020, I got highly impressed and stunned by the natural beauty of the places shown in your videos through your eyes.
I thought, some day I must visit Uttrakhand with my family.
Based on your recommendations, I was fortunate enough to execute a trip in 4th week of Dec 2022.
We were blown away with what Devbhumi offers in terms of scenic views, giagantic himalayan mountain range, traditional food/delicacies, local culture, down to earth people and many more things.
We had a great time participating in Ganga Aarti at Haridwar & Rishikesh, visiting Devprayag/Rudraprayag Sangams, Koteshwar Mahadev Mandir, Golu Devta mandir, morning sunrise at Kausani with spectacular panaromic views of Trishul, Nanda devi, Panchchuli.
After coming back, I realized that there are still plenty of unexplored places which we couldn't cover. For that, one needs more number of visits to Uttrakhand.
During our last day back to Dehradun from Nanital, we were very closed to Kotdwar and had a passing thought of meeting you in person. But then, we do realized that you would have already planned in advance for some travel series and won't be available for meet up.
Thank you for your inspiring Vlogs. Hope, with your new mountaineering training, we may get some adventure series in near future.

its beautiful. love from Pakistan. amazing sceneries. i love to travel in hilly areas . this part of world, North side of subcontinent is blessed with best mountains in world. We are compelled to fight and hate each other on some cleverly plotted events and mostly base less i wish next generations came out of these and wok for peace , prosperity and human development rather then....
Here in Pakistan we have 4 mighty mountain ranges, The Himalayas, Karakoram, Hindu Kush, peer Panjal range. Regions like Gilgit, Skardu, Swat, Chitral, Neelum, Jahlum valleys and lots of other hilly areas are simply amazing to watch.
Some day hope to Visit Ladakh, Leh, Hamachal, Uttrakhund, Arunachal, Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir

May be the Ancient Hindus had built the Temple of Dhari Devi to balance some tectonic plates. And once the temple was removed from its original place, the plates shook and the glaciers collapsed.
