I’m thinkin bout running a civil war campaign for Star Wars. I bought extra copy one of the era sourcebooks. Just need two extra. Because I’ll be writing in one and color copy in the other. I’m going to be delegating the campaign to another GM. Because I want to play. This is after we play the beginner games. With the help of my videos from another TH-camr.
Used these books a great deal throughout the years of running Star Wars. A few of my games have been set in the years immediately after order 66 so clone wars info is great for that. The stat blocks here are fantastic! The planet fact files are also amazing, as they've got some really fun ideas for adventure starters (The Gungan one I've used myself!)
If I can recommend (/ask for) a video idea: For new GMs tips and tricks? Examples I'm curious about: - the recommended rate between theatre of the mind or grid wars. - examples of normal and severe challanges for starting parties of 4-5 people, and how to design encounters. And stuff like these!
I'm running a campaign that is now up to its fourth session, set during the events of Revenge of the Sith. These books have been a great source for a whole bunch of things. Great video once again :)
Love those books! Not even playing in the Clone Wars era, the rules on Deathwatch have made one of the players in my group to create a Mandalorian character.
Thank you ! Clone Wars being one of my favorite era, I am so glad you reviewed these books. I would love to get them now that I know what content it offers. Now I just have to look if they were translated in french.
I didn't know that they were still publishing books. I'm assuming these are still done by Fantasy Flight Games? They look like it. When did they start publishing stats for main characters like Obi-Wan or Ashoka? They were pretty adamant about not doing that in the original 3 books. I'm so glad I found your video.
@@TheTabletopEmpire do you know if they have any published adventures? Besides the ones that FFG released around the time they released the core books?
I have played a campaign that led into order 66. I would actually like to run a privateer campaign during the CW. I think an "elite" trooper unit campaign could be fun, but I dont think Im competent enough to keep combat face paced and exciting. I would definitely think a one shot could be good, especially if you let them min max for combat roles. I would be curious to hear how people play clones or write their backstories to make them unique characters.
Oh. Want to point out. I dont think you need the whole bottom row of talent tree to unlock the signature ability. Just the talents that "link" it per the brackets. And I believe you can only connect one signature ability to a talent tree, so you would need to buy the talents linked to brackets into two different talent trees to get both signature abilities. I may be wrong so apologies if i am confused. Keep on 👍
Are those new species and career/specialities balanced for an Edge of The Empire Campaign at Clone Wars Era compared to other ? Or they are overpowered ?
Hi @@TheTabletopEmpire! Thanks for your reply. Wondering if you run any FFG Star Wars RPG campaigns online at the moment or know of anyone who does? Would be epic to find a group to play with! Im a male late 20's from New Zealand. Big fan of the Clone Wars era, enjoy OT, but not the ST. Big fan of Commander Cody especially. Thanks so much for your videos, they have been so helpful! Prayers to you and your family through Christ the Lord! ben
Who else is planning on running a Clone Wars campaign soon? 👀
We did clone wars campaign but with two clones that had broken inhibitor chips.
Currently running sw5e campaign set in OT but now I really want to do one for the clone wars lmao

As a clone wars fan, I wish I could get these but they are one of the many rarely in stock books
If Amazon is oos, check asmodee. They had stock for a good while

Hey everyone new tabletop empire vid just dropped!
These a very helpful thank you! I would love a video on Alchemy, since I have one in my party right now.
Best sourcebooks IMO, lots of good blocks and ships, decent mass combat for fast dming, and instant fun for my players as they die in droves.
Love your work bro!
I love the Star Wars content! Please keep this up! Also do you plan on doing some of the Genesys RPG books?
Eventually!

Publisher moved to Edge Studio under Asmodee :)
Same RPG manager as when it was under FFG

Not sure when the last one was made but they have plenty of published adventures!

Karabast... I need these... Thanks... :( :D
What are your thoughts on The Clone Wars Campaign Guide (Star Wars Roleplaying Game)
Ive never really looked into anything for Saga, sorry.

The Jedi trees seem a little strong, but everything else seems to look balanced to me.
PRAISE THE LORD JESUS this was awesomeeeeeee!! Thank you so much @Tabletop Empire!
My pleasure!

Hopefully by the end of the year!
And appreciate it, to you as well :)
I'm really torn between using the Saga Edition sourcebook, or the FFG sourcebooks. Arrggg
FFG, we have nice dice and cookies 👀
We definitely need a good modern day Clone Wars video game because Battlefront 2 isn’t enough
