      Thank you thank you :) I rescaped the nano, so I have a video coming on that. I also ordered a fun little nano light for that tank, a ONF nano+, and am running the "lean method" on the nano with this new design. So, much more fun content to come!

      Thank you! I rescaped the nano the other day. Went with an iwiguimi 😀 That video is will be uploaded in a couple of days. I am giving the lean dosing method a go. I always use the EI method, but was wanting to try something different, and using the lean method on an iwiguimi is the scape to try it on 😉

      @@aquascapeguide looking forward to it. Just purchased your EI kit. First time getting into it! Does not seem that hard, let’s see how it goes

      Awesome! And it seems way more complicated than it really is. Its SUPER easy. Our kit is essentially EI training wheels. hahaha. But, the recipe that I use, and explain in the EI Method video has a lot more potassium in it. Plants love that. Anywho, if you have any issues or questions, hit me up on my website. I can help walk you through any questions you might have. You can also put your questions here, but YT isn't good about pinging me when someone comments. I have to come in a check all the time :) Regardless, would love to help ya if you needed/wanted the guidance.

    Could you explain why if you see green spot algae you are underdosing ferts?

    • @aquascapeguide
      @aquascapeguide  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Neil! Thank you for your question. When phosphates get too low in a tank we tend to see GSA. It happens quicker in high PAR, Co2 injected system. The plants are growing so prolifically that we bottom out fertilization table and GSA shows up. Its a great little indicator that we need to increase our fert table as a whole, due to what we know from LieBigs Law of the Minimum. Thanks again for asking as Im sure there are others that had the same question but didn't want to ask ;) See you around!

    You are shipping outside of the country? I am from Bangladesh 😐

    • @aquascapeguide
      @aquascapeguide  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have the ability to ship internationally, it would just be pretty expensive, and customs might not like you receiving white powders in the mail. Hahaha. I'd be up to try it but couldn't guarantee it would get to you, then I'd feel terrible if it didn't.

      GDA is generally from a build up of organics and high lighting. You can view our article on it on my website, but you either need to up the water changes, and/or reduce your PAR. I teach to process 50% weekly water changes when there is not an issue, and 75% weekly when there is until it subsides. And then keep your light at 80PAR or below without injecting Co2, or 120PAR or below if you are injecting Co2. Hope that helps.

      I have a chihiros rbg2 60 light in my 30 gallon and going through cycling now. I used power sand and Amazonia normal on top plus the three additional powders they recommend like bacter 100, tourmaline and one more( can’t remember the name ). I haven’t even added plants yet . Where would I start , just the normal dosing ? Would I wait a week and see where the levels are when I add fish then dose ?
