11:57 Mare turned the switch back off, possibly the one before that too although difficult to tell. Then yeah at 14:59 she turned it off again 😅
4:04 the wine stain gets me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. also, 4:21 i thought the shadow was the ghost!!
I tried playing this map with unlimited sprint and 0 hiding spots, just so I can find sneaky hiding spots that work despite not being official hiding spots. So far, the only one I could find that worked all the time was that cabinet in the bathroom. Other than that, it's really difficult to evade the ghost with no hiding.
But there are a lot of places that block LoS, including the stairs themselves if you crouch
I don't know if I like the multiple light switches in the same room mechanic, especially on this map. In this same patch, they added a mechanic that if only some of the room's lighting is on, a portion of the sanity drain is blocked, and afaik, only Point Hope has these rooms. My buddys like to play on Insanity, and I've noticed that the ghosts start hunting way sooner than in other small maps because the map is like this huge vertical corridor and you have to ration the lights on the way to top so you don't pop the breaker.
i also feel like hunts start super early on point hope
I played a couple times on it and OMG it's so fucking amazing. it's beautiful and I love that you can go all the way up to the top

I did a 3 evidence/full sanity game and got a Banshee. After figuring out the ghost, I did a Banshee test with a EMF reader, salt and a motion sensor on the floor beneath the ghost floor. It walked through the salt and the motion sensor and didn't show EMF. I still have to try it on 0 sanity/0 evidence
the adaptive on the top floor and the sound between floors needs tweaked for sure. not to mention how point hope really highlights how sharp the sound swaps between floors which has always been jarring
A yurei killed my team mate and I cuz it spawned inside the hiding spot in the kitchen

My absolutely first ghost was a deo. It wasn't that hard, though because the tower is so incredible high. Also, it was only professional
The problem I had was like, "Oh I can't really hear the ghost so surely the hunt is over" and I sprinted down the stairs and ran into the ghost's face

I've played point hope with my friend, we normally only play 0 sanity 0 evidence and honestly this map just blows.
*at least for the way we play, it's probably a really cool map for people who play with evidence

yeah i wish i could enjoy it properly but i just can't bring myself to do anything but tanglewood runs as it's my favourite way to play :(
@@cherry2256as someone who basically only plays on professional, this map is great! the smaller rooms don’t have you scrambling to find them in there for like spirit box and such. i think my only gripe is how high up the breaker can spawn lol
