@@rachelsharples5495 RoyEl Otis made a great cover, doesn't matter it wasn't changed genre. They made it more powerful, energetic and Otis's voice sounded brilliant on it. You can't tell it's a copy.

The cure just released a new album, he's writing his own songs
They released their latest album, "Songs of a Lost World" just last year (16 years after "4:13 Dream" in 2008). Robert collaborates a lot with other artists, but The Cure/Robert are still writing. 😉
