  • With 15 travel lanes and 6 shoulder lanes, New Jersey's Driscoll Bridge, which carries the Garden State Parkway over the Raritan River, is the world's widest highway bridge. It is also one of the busiest, crossed by about 400,000 drivers each day. The bridge connects the Middlesex County communities of Woodbridge Township on the north with Sayreville on the south.
