So far this entire series has managed to rekindle my passion for watches in a way I didn't even know I needed! I can't wait to see what you showcase next and where your journey takes you.
you guys are setting the bar high for other channels. Excellent job Cole and good you are interviewing real collectors outside North America and Europe. I never seen any level of Omega dedication similar to what this gentleman has. Nothing even comes close
Thanks Cole and Hodinkee for making this happen. Great to see watch content that has nothing to do with hype, the latest releases, flexing and paid promotions. It’s so much harder to produce creative content on this kind of level than the aforementioned subjects. Take a bow, everyone!
Another great episode and story. Thanks! With an office like that, who wouldn't love going to and staying at work everyday? Amazing collection is an understatement. This is like (nearly) Omega's historic catalog in the flesh.. er, metal. Perfect timing with the new collab release to get hyped (as if it needed any help getting it already) and get an entry level taste of the Speedy.
Thank you Cole, your team and of course all the three collectors for this series and all the insights! I‘m very excited what is next, so good to see some coverage about the more niche side of watch collection and how it's done in other parts of the world than the US or Europe!
Have to say this might be some of the best watch journalism I’ve ever seen, amazing series Cole! Loved learning about a country I didn’t know much about have so much passion for watches! Keep it up guys!
This is great. This is what watch collecting is about - the history, passion, and, of course, great watches. With all the ridiculous "drama" in the watch world these days with skyrocketing prices, shady grey markets, watch thefts, marketing hoaxes, and vapid youtubers, this brings me back to what it's all about.
Perfect host, perfect subjects. Thanks for bringing fun and personality (and also a notable lack of pretense) back into this hobby that we all share here. Bravo!
Great interview. You show great respect for your hosts. This collection is insane. I always thought I didn't like enamel artistic dials, but these vintage ones with just the right amount of patina are a true revelation!
There are watch collectors and then there are Watch Collectors. Kudos to Kun Apichai for his effort and being willing to share his collection with the world.
This is a true enthusiast! Unlike the new flex culture nowadays where hyped prices come 1st before the merits of the watches themselves. So refreshing!
Really love this show and so far both episodes have been amazing. I really wish you would have asked him if he wears all the watches or some of them are museum pieces only. I think we need to see a show about collectors who wear their watches and those who just keep them as display or safe queens. Owning 50 watches myself, it is a first-world dilemma many of us watch collectors have and would really love to hear some strategies or thoughts on how to rotate or just appreciate them in a different way.
I’m a good friend of Mr. Wachara Chinsettawong who’s related to Mr. Apichai. The collection here speaks for itself but Mr. Wachara is World Class Gentleman and a true enthusiast as well.
Khun(คุณ) in Thai is a polite way to call someone. You can think of it like Mr., Mrs. etc. Mr. Wachara in thai we will call him Khun Wachara. We can call anyone Khun. If you say Mr. Khun, we can get confused.
Huge Omega fan and am fortunate enough to to own several pieces amount other brands. Thank You for this video and being able to see some pieces I’ve never seen before. Very informative 👍
This is true watch journalism. How would most people have found this gem without this episode? Just amazing.
It's amazing how passionate he is about the brand. In today's watch world, it's nice to see. No hype just all love.
What a find ! Not only the museum hidden in a factory, but a collector as interesting as his collection. My preferred series at Hodinkee right now.
Love this series. Cole's voice is perfect for storytelling.
Too bad you can give this just one like. A killer job from Cole and the Hodinkee! Really enjoyed these.
So far this entire series has managed to rekindle my passion for watches in a way I didn't even know I needed! I can't wait to see what you showcase next and where your journey takes you.
Congrats to Cole for shaping what seems to be his dream job.
This is the best part of fridays now 👏🏼

One of the best series to come out of Hodinkee.
Its a good day when an episode for Watches in the Wild is released!
Coolest series Hodinkee has made in a while, like Talking Watches early days. Just when I thought I was out they pull me back in :)
Please keep doing this amazing series Cole. Great show
Just sent this video to my girlfriend to show her what our future home office will look like. Love all the memorabilia. NEW YORK CITY NEXT 😁
Another great episode and story. Thanks!

I almost ugly cried looking at this gentleman’s passion.
Great interview. You show great respect for your hosts. This collection is insane. I always thought I didn't like enamel artistic dials, but these vintage ones with just the right amount of patina are a true revelation!

I love this. Looking forward to the next season!

Agreed.
He does. He takes out a week's selection at a time. Seven or so watches and wears them for the week, then chooses the next seven.
@@cpennington1023 Cool. Thanks!
great job Cole and team!!
Great video series. Bravo & Keep em coming!
Thank you Cole and team!
Beautifully done. I can't afford Omega watches but very interesting compilation of interviews and research. More power to your channel.
Wonder if he’s sleeping outside is local Swatch shop tonight?
his museum probably is one of the selected stores for the release xD
Amazing collection and even more from a private collector! An enjoyable episode
