Not all mongers are built the same. Not all thai girls are built the same. Bankroll aside, if you have good hygiene, good personality (and smile), display a good heart (but show right away that you're not a simp or white knight), communicate verbally and non-verbally exactly what you want in each relationship you forge...it will all go a long way to having pleasant experiences on your trip.
I travelled solo the islands Koh Chang, Koh Kood, Koh Mak. Everywhere I went, I was the only solo traveller. The islands were like paradise but it was very boring to be alone all the time. You really should try to find a holiday girlfriend before visiting the islands. BTW Koh Samui, Koh Pha Ngan are exceptions in this regard as they offer a lot of options for solo travellers.

Good advice mate, I went straight with the normal dating to find my partner now through Thai Friendly and never looked into what you are talking about except to be aware of scams as I was only after a serious relationship. But I get alot of friends and associates asking about dating in Thailand whether short term and long term, and this is a good video to refer people to if they are not after anything serious and yes Thai friendly can be good for serious relationships, but I noticed several years back there was alot of freelancers on Thai friendly for some strange reason so be careful even on Thai friendly if after something serious.

Holiday girlfriend overall cost twice that of one night with a lady. Add on cost of meals, hotels, gifts, gold etc. More fun, experience, less hassle and 'cheaper' with a choice of women.
I dont see point sticking to a girl where there are 42 thousand other girls in Pattaya. I just leave my hotel room, go with flow but make sure next day she isnt with me anymore. Tree Town bars and massage shops in Soi Honey are the cheapest option, Soi 6 and Gents clubs are medium, Go gos are the highest.

@@dannyw2313 Lady drinks are around 220 baht, bar fines i think 2000-3000 before 11pm in Walking st. Playgirlz and Windmill i liked. For high class experience i suggest XS and Pin-up. Enjoy!

All of the above. If you stay in Thailand long enough the app definitely pays for itself! Lots of regular girls living in province and also big cities just looking to date and form friendship and maybe longer term. Others just explicit say they looking for friends and go out have fun/party. Also plenty of freelancers that have profiles pretty obvious what their intent is, and lots are just as young and good looking as Agogo girls but charge way way less plus no barfine and other crap. Also plenty of scammers so be aware of that. I honestly can't imagine wasting money at agogo's anymore other than just buy an overpriced beer and just chill at a few of them that have the best looking girls and shows like XS.
My advice goes against GP though in that I recommend *NOT* to use default generic messages that you blast out to 100+ ladies in a minute. You might get response back from freelancer, but the ordinary working ladies can easily sense it is generic boilerplate message and won't respond. By taking time to craft an original hello based on what their profile says the chance of response goes up by 1000%.

We live in Calif and travel back to Thailand because we live the country, the people and most importantly her family. Thailand isn't about boom boom, the country is amazing and we plan to live there part time. Wake up when you're in Thailand and you'll be surprised there's not to it.

I've never been to gents club before but perhaps will try in coming trip. One thing I don't like is how early they close as I typically don't get geared up for going out and having some adult beverages and seeing action until around 7-8pm. Usually start with dinner, so actually going out even later. I guess I am not the type of customer they are aiming for.
I agree with Phuket, not only are accomodations more expensive there but yeah lots of pushy attitudes on Bangla Rd. It is a beautiful island though with nice beaches and clean water for swimming and water sports. It's a big island so one can explore it for a long time too with lots of hotels in the more quiet spots away from the adult stuff. In contrast all of Krabi and Ao Nang is chill relaxed vibe and also nice beach. Maybe it was just my bad timing though but as hot/humid as Phuket was I found Krabi to be that on steroids haha. Wow I was sweating going on those day tours compared to Phuket.
GP - have you ever taken Thai language classes to get more fluent so you can have deeper conversations with the locals? I agree after a week of 'what your name' and 'where you from' and 'how long you stay' it does get really old quick. I'd like to speak more Thai, but just learning the alphabet is pretty darn hard!

Just my opinion. But I dont find the quality in GC's all that great. Ive been in many GC's where 95% of the girls are at best 6/10's. I'm sure its good value for guys that find tehse girls attractive.. But I dont think the quality is high enough. At least for my tastes.
same goes for the beer bars (maybe more so). A lot of these places are 90% meh and a few that are 7s and 8s at best. But it's fun to just chill and play some pool and buy a few lady drinks to keep them happy
