I'm impressed. If I hadn't felt similar type sensations before, I would think that this video was a hoax. You've more clearly defined these things for me and confirmed for me that I wasn't hallucinating (I strongly felt I wasn't). I thank you greatly for that Shifu. You must be really sensitive to flows of energy, and very experienced. I don't doubt that you're Shifu was quite powerful. Like I've said before, I'm glad you're a good guy, because if not, we're in trouble.😁👍🏾
There is something else that I see happening here. Sifu Lin often draws his student forward before contact. The student's centeredness is off balance _before_ contact. The student reacts in anticipation of Sifu. This is easily seen at 1:09, but elsewhere as well. The student moves forward to meet the oncoming force which is his undoing. An analogy might be defenders leaving their otherwise impregnable fortifications to battle a stronger attacker and getting destroyed just outside their walls. This may be another level of internal T'ai Chi Ch'uan.
Thanks Sifu this was quite esoteric but glad you covered this as its not realy demonstrated with as much clarity as you have shown , when others' attempt to. It feels to me that in order to make use of the incorporeal chi outside you have to be able to put your awareness outside of the body. Is this like 6-direction force? Some internal martial arts say you always have to be in a state of 6-direction force at all times but in taichi chi do we only make use of that direction of force that we feel is taking us of our zongding in a specific direction at the moment it occurs?
relating to the previous video about pulling the earth and heaven energy, in this one you drop the awareness down below the feet as root, but what if your awareness is pulled up beyond the crown, ie the reverse of rooting? will you still be hard to push, or the reverse? is there some other effect or benefit of it?

Yes that is a really good observation! And it is indeed a factor in losing position as well as Zhongding. Good eyes. 👁️👁️😃
I have seen this demonstrated at Wudang and Chen village. Simple, elegant, and devastating.🙏🎸☯️🕉️
@@TeShan-lf7kqooo. Very cool! Must be really wonderful to see masters at these places demonstrate! 😃🙏
nice observation, but watch the direction of the force also….

Thank you for your kind comment! 😃🙏
