    I see that this now has a package with all-terrain wheels on Amazon...thoughts? Our driveway and street are gravel, so this checks all of our boxes except for the all-terrain. Wondering if the addition of the new wheels would make it work?

    Now, I’m just curious, would the standard canopy work on the discovery also? We would like to use as a bench seat for the kids too and having one top cover would be more effective. The one seat recline is the only thing that really attracts me to this model. I have a little that still naps and I think would come handy.

      @KidTravel1  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The canopies work well for naps, but they are a little too low and get in the way when it is in bench-seat mode.

    Your videos are super helpful! Thank you for the great content! I am looking for a foldable wagon that I can gate check while flying internationally on a very long journey with and infant and a toddler. I have narrowed down to radio flyer discovery and ever advanced foldable wagon. Which one would you recommend?

    • @KidTravel1
      @KidTravel1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Pallavi, I like the Radio Flyer a bit better because of the quality problems we had with the Ever Advanced. The Radio Flyer doesn't lock closed, which usually isn't a problem, but if you are checking it you would need to tie something around it to keep it folding in transit.
      You've probably already checked with airlines, but many airlines say that you can't gate check a stroller or wagon that is heavier than 20 lbs. All the wagons are 30 lbs and up. You might find an airline that will do it at the gate. TSA is a concern. On the TSA site they say you can take strollers through but they have to go through the xray machine.

    Thank you for the review! Just curious if Radio Flyer Odyssey performs similar to Discovery? I'm considering that one due to its larger storage. I would be grateful if there is a Odyssey review. Thanks!

    • @KidTravel1
      @KidTravel1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Odyssey is heavier, has a different canopy, and storage features as you mentioned, so I do think it will score higher in some areas(usability) and lower in others (folding, stowage). I can’t tell if the wheels and accept are the same. Not sure if there will be much difference in maneuverability.
      Thanks for the recommendation to review one of these!

    Will you run with it? Or lightly jog? Does the front wheels shake alot?

    • @KidTravel1
      @KidTravel1  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      None of the wagons we tested were made for running and only tried it a couple of times with a few of them.
      I don't know if the wheels would shake but it is likely.

    Is there any car seat adapter for this wagon? Or some universal one?

    • @KidTravel1
      @KidTravel1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question. No, there isn't anything available. The sides are too soft to support a car seat.

    What wagon stroller do you recommend. I first bought the jeep but returned it quickly as It was hard to use. Then bought the delta disney. I love everything about it except the wheels make it difficult in my opinion. Torn between the radio flyer discovery and the larktale. Hesitating on larkatale about price and if it will fit in a rav4. And hesitant and discovery about if it would be to rough of a ride for my baby and the quality of if it will last. I also have an eye on the pivot

    • @KidTravel1
      @KidTravel1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't have the Delta Disney or Larktale (although I'm getting that one next). We have a recent video of "best stroller wagons" to help you decide. The Radio Flyer certainly folds small, so that part would work for you. It rolls pretty smoothly although some of the more expensive ones are a little smoother. The quality isn't bad at all. It kind of depends on how much your kids will try to climb over the sides and play rough on it. I don't think you'll have quality problems with the wheels and handle.
      The Baby Trend might not fit well in your Rav4, but it rides well and has good construction, handles much better than the Jeep.
      The Evenflo is great in its size, ride, comfort, price, etc. But it isn't the normal wagon shape its a little more like a double stroller with seats facing each other.

    Would you be able to sit an infant carseat in this with a toddler?

    • @KidTravel1
      @KidTravel1  ปีที่แล้ว

      No. Unfortunately there is very little space left over when you put a car seat inside.
      For example, the Chicco Keyfit 30 infant car seat is about 27 inches from the very back to the front, long ways, and this wagon is 32 inches long on the inside.

    Just got my discovery wagon today. Did anyone else have their back wheels feeling tight? I feel like it doesn’t roll as easy as the one in the video.

    • @KidTravel1
      @KidTravel1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That doesn’t sound right. The wheels should be completely free spinning.

    • @CurlySteph
      @CurlySteph 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just exchanged it for a new one today. The new one is much better but I noticed the canopy closer to you doesn’t have the extended flap that velcros to the wagon & the back pouch is much smaller. It also doesn’t have the reclining seat. They must’ve made changes to them recently.
