Enjoyed the whole vid. While I recover from surgery. I plan on big loop down IDBDR and up the WABDR this summer so I appreciate all the info you added.👍Cheers from Langley BC.
It's a great loop, I left from Port Hardy and did it the opposite to your plan, WABDR through Oregon to IDBDR and back up through the chilcotin was an awesome 21 day trip! Heal up quick! Oh and there's a few videos from WABDR on the channel if you scroll down a bit! Enjoy
I really enjoyed your video. I finished it 100%. It's just the right amount of content. Having ridden Singletrack in Idaho last year with my brother, I think he wants to go back and attempt the BDR.
Thanks very much for making through the "director's cut". Its a great ride for sure but if you are a single track rider you'll appreciate the views more than the trails (which I guess is somewhat the point of the BDR) Enjoy the ride!
It totally depends on your time line, if you have lots of time IDBDR is the go to, WABDR if you are more limited. Honestly I have a soft spot for WA but I think that's because it was not only my first big solo trip, but also my first BDR so there is some feely stuff there lol.
Thanks man! I ran a desert HT in the front, and a rallZ in the back. Started with desertHT front and back but had an issue in Washington... Thanks for watching!
That being said you could totally get away with a 50/50. Something like the tractionator GPS or Hidenau H60 (both I guess are kinda 60/40 but you get the idea). I lean toward agressive tires but I ride 90% off road so it makes alot more sense to me, as the old adage goes, "bring what ya got"
Thanks for linking them all together...All the best from Alberta!
No worries, cheers from BC!
Really enjoyed this. Therapy for the soul, thank you. 👍🏻
Thank you man, I use it to escape every now and again as well lol
Bought a place in Red Lodge, MT. Picking up a T7 and hope to ride several of the BDRs. Cheers
@@jasonpender5645 you will love that area and bike! Enjoy!
Wow ,terrific job .what a trip ,I hope to do this one myself . Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks man, it was truly an amazing experience

I never get tired of watching this! After doing both, which BDR would you recommend first, this IDBDR or the WABDR?

I loved this video! So rad! What kind of Motoz tires are you running? I'm thinking I'm going to need more than a 50/50 to really enjoy this route.

@@OverPenAdventures For sure man! I appreciate the info. I didn't the video to end--so much fun to watch. Cheers!
