If you are skinny you need to stand next to the bike and hop up to get all of your weight into the kick. You have to get the kicker arm to fully cycle every time to avoid kickback.
Timing is too advanced, idle is too low and your milking your kick. Kick all the way through it (use your ass) once it fires tune your carb and time that thing properly PLEASE! Wouldnt hurt if you also threw that electric start in the garbage, deff losing style points with a electric start on a AMF era bike.

Out of time simple as that . I had a 77 super glide would start effortlessly. Kick it once with ignition off then would start first time every time.
Slap a lectron carb on it friend. that and a Taylor ignition and she's a one kicker... like butter....and hot sauce.
