Toppen Shopping Centre, located at No. 33A, Jalan Harmonium, Taman Desa Tebrau, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is a prominent retail and entertainment destination. Opened in November 2019, it is owned and operated by the Swedish furniture giant IKEA, which named the mall "Toppen" after the Swedish word for "best".
In addition to its diverse array of over 300 retail outlets, including brands like Ace Hardware and Daiso, Toppen features an e-sports gaming centre known as the Pantheon. The mall also offers a state-of-the-art TGV Cinemas with 12 themed halls, including seats with embedded speakers for an enhanced audio experience.
A standout feature of Toppen is "The Topp," a rooftop area that includes a garden, kids' water playground, skate park, and rock climbing walls, providing a versatile space for family-friendly activities.
Toppen is strategically located next to another major mall, AEON Tebrau City, allowing visitors to enjoy a full day of shopping and leisure activities. The area is conveniently accessible, being about a 20-minute Grab ride from the CIQ Checkpoint.
Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Toppen has continued to expand its offerings and remains a central hub for the Johor Bahru community.
