Kai Tracid - My first ever major event MOS Hard NRG Tour Perth Western Aust. I closed my set with this bangin tune that everyone went off too including me! I was asked to mix an after party for that one or maybe another event, but it was called "Spiritual Healing" and I closed the gig with the track also. One of my fave producers from the 00's and Tracid Traxx was my fave label. So many outstanding tracks, Kai's blend of tough acid bass lines with amazingly uplifting and melodic breakdowns was unbelievable. Conscious the Energy mix was my fave track along with For Just One Day.... Awesome btw you Euro guys speak better English than a lot of English people. 😂

Great interview again! Unfortunately Trance & Acid was made after my out going days, so it never really gave me that great feeling his Formid Acid - Eternia did. That's still one my favorite tracks ever, such a blast and timeless masterpiece.
That's a pretty good one! I bought the ZYX CD many years ago. I also really like some of Kai's other very obscure tracks like Formic Acid - The House 666, Arrow - Indic and Aeon FX - Human Race. Trance & Acid is a good track though it overshadows Kai's other works quite a bit

This was brilliant Twan, I really enjoyed it mate. The back story & snippets of information, especially the feelings behind some of the darker tracks, such depth. It also made me think of Dumonde, the harder German sounds of that time always played well with the Tracid Traxx & Druck etc..

Fantastic channel and interviews! I was digging around history of techno/hard trance and came up with this channel. Amazing. Would it be possible to make interview with Kai Winter who together with Michael Hennes is behind of extraordinary hard trance tracks like First Step (probably one of the first reverse bass?), Second Trip, Sound of Rock and their absolutely perfect remix Polar Lander. Im really interested of their works and would be nice to hear what do they talk. I once contacted with Michael Hennes through social media to ask about their music and which instruments they used back then, but he told that Kai Winter would be better to answer those technical questions. Much appreciate all your content what you bring for us here!

I don't know the answer but I think because Frankfurt is a big city. Good infrastructure is one thing. If you have like one or a few pioneers interested in a kind of music, then it's possible that a scene is building (with German Hip Hop the main centeres were Stuttgart, Hamburg, mabye Heidelberg (which is close to Frankfurt. Later Berlin became a center) and obviously new talented producers will come to an area where they can reach a large audience and where the clubs and record labels + producers + insiders are. In short: It's always easier for those who come later when you have some people buildung a solid foundation.

If You speak English, why subtitles in all videos in different languages except English? You can set subtitles settings on Your youtube channal English automatically when load... It would be nice if You fix subtitles in all video to English ;) and.... Thnx for the video , Super interview!!! :)
The default language for all my videos has been set to "English" since the start of my channel. I did double check the settings to see if something is wrong, but all looks fine here. When I log in with my other account I can also pick "English" as well, so it is in the list. So I don't think it is a problem on my end, sorry!
@@muzikxpress But in this video system automatically chose the German language. It would be nice if you were corrected into English. Otherwise, words are not correctly recognized .. That is, instead of normal text there is a set of random words. You can check. And similar not only with this video.

tbh i would rather hear his stories on his label Tracid Trax. It was the pinnacle of german trance at that time. harbouring talented guys like hennes & cold, derb, ASYS, Warmduscher etc. You couldnt talk about hard trance back then without mentioning these guys
The concept of my vlogs is that I pick a certain classic / big hit from back in the day and ask the producer / artist about the story behind that track. I'm doing that for more than 3 years already and I think it works pretty well ;-) In one of my previous interviews with Kai we talk about Tracid Traxxx as well in case you missed it :) EDIT: Warmduscher was produced by Kai as well FYI
It's rather hard for me to pick my favorite Kai Tracid track, I prefer the older stuff he released under various names. Some of my favorites include: Arrow - Indic Aeox FX - Human Race Formic Acid - Eternia Formic Acid - The House 666 Mac Acid - Mind Flow Kai Tracid - Skywalker 1999 Kai Tracid - Destructions Kai Tracid - Drift Deep Into Your Thoughts. Trance & Acid is a good track but IMO is overrated.

We need more labels like HQ Recordings & Hard Trance Revolution who keep the spirit of Hard Trance alive. It's a sound so fresh and unique.

If You speak English, why subtitles in all videos in different languages except English? You can set subtitles settings on Your youtube channal English automatically when load... It would be nice if You fix subtitles in all video to English ;) and.... Thnx for the video , Super interview!!! :)
The default language for all my videos has been set to "English" since the start of my channel. I did double check the settings to see if something is wrong, but all looks fine here. When I log in with my other account I can also pick "English" as well, so it is in the list. So I don't think it is a problem on my end, sorry!
@@muzikxpress But in this video system automatically chose the German language. It would be nice if you were corrected into English. Otherwise, words are not correctly recognized .. That is, instead of normal text there is a set of random words. You can check. And similar not only with this video.
@@GoodLuck-GoodLuck it all works fine here, the default language is set to English in all my videos. Also this one. So not sure why it doesn’t work for you.

tbh i would rather hear his stories on his label Tracid Trax. It was the pinnacle of german trance at that time. harbouring talented guys like hennes & cold, derb, ASYS, Warmduscher etc. You couldnt talk about hard trance back then without mentioning these guys
The concept of my vlogs is that I pick a certain classic / big hit from back in the day and ask the producer / artist about the story behind that track. I'm doing that for more than 3 years already and I think it works pretty well ;-) In one of my previous interviews with Kai we talk about Tracid Traxxx as well in case you missed it :)

It's rather hard for me to pick my favorite Kai Tracid track, I prefer the older stuff he released under various names.

Trance & Acid is a good track but IMO is overrated.
