The golden plate schematic I believe is always the second contract reward in the elder dark aether no matter what order you do the contracts in. The Aether Blade is always the third.
Once you have the schematic first time and can craft the item, you do not need to get the schematic again. You will have it forever but it has cooldown

Imo the golden plate is so useful. Having to manually reapply plates is really time consuming

You can just buy a legendary wall buy from tier 3 then work toward PAP3 during the game

Funny.. I got those many many times.. Even gave them away.. But i can't find the Elemental Pop and L2 PAP schematic.. Frustrating.. Lol
The pop is in T3 contracts, and L2 pap is also in t3
