Right now its around 6,000,000 silver per premium. Every minute you spend on an alt, is minute you do not spend on your main, meaning your main character progresses much more slowly if you are wasting hours on alts. This is a game where one character can do EVERYTHING, so if your whole point is to run two alts at extra $30/mth, just so you can make more in-game money, that is weak sauce. If your guild needs to have you run alts to guard multiple locations, that guild sucks and is near dead, they should be doing more recruiting. Either way, out of all MMO's I've played, and I started out in text based MUD's, this one really, really, really does NOT reward you for having alts as much as you lose by making your main weaker. Stick to one character and in couple months having that one character maxed in everything you might care about will far outweigh early boost by splitting them up.
Also, ... 20 LP/day is NOTHING. You can blast through 1000 LP and not even finish T4. So 1000 LP on alt you barely play, ... waste of time. Thats 50 days, and $30 on one alt, so you can do what? Be weak T4 alt?

Having one subscription is more than enough for me. Premium costs like 9 million at the moment so not in a rush to make alts.

Bailey no, this would be far too generous. The devs need some encrouragement to buy premium with money, some people might do this with alts.

Good post. I really just play one character..I haven t been the alt swapper type of gamer. I was thinking about rolling a healer?.. My only character is bow / shield and broadsword.
GL making silver with 1 main character... Some of these no lifes slap prem on 5 characters and play them all 8 hours a day

About the Premium thing, it's only a bother because you need to get it 30 days ... but you keep the island once premium is over.
And having more than 1 island sure is a great thing ^^
Hrmm so I like the idea of playing purely crafting based characters and you know what, I never thought about alts as an option. Maybe having 1 alt per material with islands for transfer and storage wouldnt be bad.

Can't you just set your alts as co-owners and they can use your stashes then? Or even then you still have to set individual permissions?

one island max should pay easy for one account a day. You would have to make 360,000 silver for 30 days a total of 10,800,000 not counting crafting and farming raw resources on the side. If you run the market right it should be easy once you get a second account with a max island to then buy a 3 account. Plus you wont need the two other account only need the 3 islands and there focus point for the farms. So you would have 3 times the amount of silver for one character and be able to be always paying monthly free without cash. Also if you stop playing you will still be able to jump back in after like months of not playing.

I was told that you need alts in this game and i thought of la2 and EVE where having alts is a massive force multiplier. Here it surely doesnt sound like much.

Alts arep extremely necessary in Albion since focus is equal to money and you'll be able to have more farms...

Build a butcher or ore refiner. Add alts as co-owners. Add silver in the administration tab. Switch to alt. Claim building. Withdraw silver... No fees. Quick and easy...

But you have to pay for premium 3times. I am not playing this game but planning to try. With paying like you said you get back and you have character full of learning points and without paying you have nothing. So it does not sound like encouraging to try if you are not planning to pay constantly.
They shouyld make like in eve online if u already subscriber with premium... you just pay a littlebit of extra not subscription for 3 characters.. makes no sense that Premium isnt account-wide...

I have 3 characters, i just make a bit of silver on 2 and turn it into gold, so i can buy premium on my main
How do you trasfer the gold to one alt to another?
@@MRRED-bk5hb on the same account gold is shared between your alt characters, so no need to transfer, it's just there.

prem is not account wide that is my biggest prob. why spend 30 dollars a month for that? so for all characters i would need to spend 100 plus hours to make them viable or spend real money to buy tomes of insight just to have them be viable? i do not love the model for alts, i do love the game but for 5 dollars more i can play any other mmo and pay my monthly and have every character benefit from my sub. this requires 30 bucks a month plus farming for each toon? how is that ever worth it? and then not to mention why is it when i make a toon co owner it doesn't just give them access to everything to the island? sigh this game is amazing, its just the internal workings of giving rights is exhausting and should be fixed.
