sometimes when pain escapes me when right and wrong and my name escapes me
I write people I’ll never know a letter
I don’t know how I got here to begin with wherever here is I hope somebody reads this
I just saw a shadow and I followed it to forever
    is blood thicker than water
    she got that water
    baptized in water
    holy water
    I was sellin that water
    when we had no water
    wine from the water
    oh the river
    wade in the water
    wade in the water children
I know heaven’s hands won’t rescue me I’ve done things and I must pay a handsome fee
I have memories of several minds of different lives of places and times
and I’m an old soul that’s traveled a long way so I’m tired even when I’m wide awake
in one life I was filthy rich I built a home like in Rome with pillars in it
and my queen was there like Cleopatra and she was perfect and we had servants and they’d look after us
    is blood thicker than water
    she got that water
    baptized in water
    holy water
    I was sellin that water
    when we had no water
    wine from the water
    oh the river
    wade in the water
    wade in the water children
I know heaven’s hands wont rescue me I’ve done things and I must pay a handsome fee
mamma said son don’t drink from the river stay far away from that ol silent killer
if I’m ever not around this I’m warning you I’ve buried one child boy don’t make me bury two
    that’s what mamma said
    wade in the water
    wade in the water children
I know heaven’s hands won’t rescue me I’ve done things and I must pay a handsome fee
I know where I’m at ain’t where I’ll be I’ve done things and I must pay a handsome fee

I love the way religion is touched on but not shoved down our throats. David is a very complex person. You can tell he is constantly thinking. Love the new album.

Good point. David is, without a doubt, the best lyricist on the planet. Nobody can convey emotion like him, plus, he literally puts u there n the story.....that's hard to do, especially album after album

He sings like he grew up in the church. It has influence on him as a person but does not define who he is.

Agreed. I’ll never understand why people want them to make the same records over and over again. The whole point is to be original and produce something new. People are repetitive, boring and can’t think for themselves I guess.

@@WRASSLINROPESHURT yeah, their originality is something that I love about them. they dont keep making the same song and you never really know what to expect. you have an idea but they still surprise you with their diversity

It is very amazing... I've loved music all my life many many genres and songs as well.. I've also felt the true emotion from the singer through lots of songs but nothing and noone like David Gunn has ever conveyed to me in a way that not only do I love the music but I am in love with his music. In life there are things you can't just burn yourself out on and for me this applies to all King810/Yavid songs..

I'll always remember the very first time I heard them. i was sitting in my room, 2014, watching music videos on my TV. an Ad came on and I was about to just skip it but it wasnt just some normal ad. it was the music video for Fat Around The Heart. I've been following these guys ever since, and it's honestly so amazing to see how much they changed in just 5 years. they're like a new band every album.

Cool stuff, king is great whether metal, r&b, rap or blues - this is coming from a metal head.
If you're angry about shifts this band take because you're metal only then just listen to the necessary songs.
Heavy is a story, not a sonical preference.

I dont think anyone will read this and get it. I lost my dad. He was notorious. He wasn't a "good guy" but he was mine. I miss my dad. He's gone. He's not in heaven but he's in my heart. Part of me isn't good but I'm not bad either. I'm lost not ever knowing where or who I am. Forever missing him forever split in two.

If you have same soul as me, check your soul contract in heaven while astral projecting so you not caught in a reincarnation loop. The reason why the servants were happy they didn't have to work as much as we do today vs what they had access too. I am the oldest reincarnation archangel Barachiel this is what is on my soul contract. Each person will have a different name/signature.

I think king is done with truly heavy metal but I still like the direction king has taken. David said it himself they will never make the same album twice. Anachronism and memoirs were heavy different but heavy now they are moving on
