      @@samuelconteh5641 of course!
      1. Get comfortable with math. You take the most of it as an EE. Math is the part that dictates what you have access to in terms of curriculum and your matriculation speed. Try to get as close to calc 1 you can if you aren’t strong in math. If you are great! If not get ready to study with others and look at youtube. And don’t be afraid to talk summer classes at a local community college and transfer the grade in if professors are bad during the year.
      2. Don’t be shy- talk to students, talk to professors, talk to anyone. You can get alot working with others and being friendly and sincere.
      3. Internships- while GPA and your coursework matters. School won’t teach practical real world application. As a freshman look around in your department at what labs/ research experience is available. Look at research your freshman year or summer and try it out, this will be a stepping stone/ intro for you to put on your resume (since freshmen dont have alot of experience). Professors have alot of connects but don’t advertise that alot until they get to know you so if you stick with them you can get exposed to alot. If not and you want to work at a company or gov. Agency make sure you get out and attend what ever career fair that you can get your hands on!
      3. Have fun! Make friends, play video games until 4 in the morning. Know it’s not all studying and calculators, so enjoy college!
      4. Caveat to the above! Have fun but don’t go all gas and no brakes! Make sure you remember your priorities, school comes first, and your job is to finish out with the degree in ee.

Most feedback that I got I said I didn't like doing something was gaslighting. If someone says "I don't like doing this and want to pursue better", boomers will call them whiny or entitled.

If your thinking about starting a business do it. It is not as hard as people want to tell you it is. I worked full time until I was loosing money at work, at that point I put in my 2 weeks notice. My advice would be to start learning about online marketing ASAP, and get your website up yesterday. The slowest part of starting a small local business for me was getting noticed online. Their is no reason to wait, get started as soon as you can. Websites are very affordable!

Sold beef jerkey in high school, used the football team to sell the products for me. Photography business with my gf in college. Worked a few awesome 9-5 jobs many would love to have. Its not what you know its who you know. Anyways.. was In and out of college for 10years cuz i was brain washed into thinking college is A MUST... here i am now. College is done for. Absolutely fucking amazIng story man. I was just like you, forged my birth cert when I was 13 to get a job a super market when my paper routes didnt make enough. Hell I be friended this kid in my neighborhood to get his paper route as he was getting too old for it. Anyways in or about 2005/07 I opened my own title insurance company after working in the industry for over 13 years. I was about 30 back then, the business didnt do well, basically the market collapse fell apart. Now ff Im in the IT field, self taught, and looking to start my own business again. I know its gonna fail, and thats ok. Im a little tougher smarter now with what works. Im ok with it. I'm just spit balling out loud right now, as youre video inspired me back to who I truly am. Hey man I love this video, just seen it and I really can’t believe how much it resonates with me. I also think outside the box, very hyper I believe I could potentially have ADHD, I dropped out of college as well because I am a hands on guy, I learn as I try. Currently 24yrs old, started my first business 2yrs ago failed at it haha I never really knew much about the business I just went in it because I believed my partners would help me through it being that they were well in their 30’s but they didn’t know what they were doing. Currently working on a new business but anyways long story short, I am currently stuck at the phrase “do something you love” because I love a lot of things I like to be out in the open and just live, if it’s something I really love then it’s freedom, but besides that I can’t really pick a passion because all passions are man made I appreciate most of them but a lot of the time I just want to be able to be free enough to actually attempt many of these.
I hope this all makes sense and if you can answer my question I’ll really appreciate it, I wish you all the best in your endeavors

"Do something that you love" ; This is misleading. I've seen so many people fail because they tried to put up something they liked instead of something that people wanted. Gotta be careful with that. You could make a video on this subject, would be interesting to see how you figure it out.

That is true. Like the successful coffee shop he drives by. Even if you find coffee fascinating no one likes slaving over a coffee machine serving the endless line. And the owner is probably not serving anyone but stuck in a office in endless meetings and financial reports every day. i i bet he does not like that. But it is still a successful business making him tonnes of money.
While lots of people start doing what they like and find out the market is just not there.

I don’t think entrepreneurship is inborn per se. I think that people who are called to entrepreneurship are those who just never were able to fit in with the status quo life. I was one step away from getting trapped in the system in the very respectable field of medicine. But i just had this feeling that if I get into this “cookie-cutter” life, I’ll be miserable for the rest of my life. Now I’m going into business for myself, but I’m also working odd seasonal jobs to build up money to support it. I respect what you are doing sir.

Before even watching this I had to Comment that @ 0:36 a 16 year old kid said that he wants to " Start a Business WITH HIS Friends " !
A word of advice; " Don't Do it "! Either work for one of your friends or have them Work for you !
Partnerships Always End in Enmity ( Contempt ) and Loss of Friend ship !
One might be able to give advice or even some help in starting a business. But Partnerships
almost always end in Lost friendships and Disaster !

I also could not work for others to a fault, not a college type either, tons of auto shop in HS but could see doing it all the time, but I do believe you A. have to find an area you like, B>see how much you like it after your working in the area. I taught myself (after working for several construction type "angry" bosses) as I found the jobs. If I were to do it again I would find someone highly skilled stick with it , and maybe move with in the trade and learn from those people as much as possible . in the end I still would have become a GC just a smarter one. also, learn to handle your money, the old rule of it only matters how much you keep is the hardest one I had to experience

This video helped me out a lot, it resonated with me. I am also trying to be an entrepreneur. I do realise that I need to read more and do more research. My plan is to work as a vr programmer to build up some capital and then start a company. I am also considering dropping out of school, because I completely agree with you and so far it has been useless to me, I kept hoping that a higher level would be beneficial, but even at a masters degree I find it useless. I think that I will try to finish it since it is a couple months away. Your origin story inspired me!

Having young competitivness (close friend or sibling) helps.

Hey man, you're a huge inspiration to me. We're a lot alike except I'm still in my early stages of life (I'm 27). I am a young Alpha looking to make myself into something greater. I spent 8 years in the US Army where I quickly established myself as a hard working reliable soldier who would always get the job done right the first time. Due to this I climbed rank extremely fast. I'm a natural born leader and am always looking for ways to better myself. I'm always learning from my life lessons and reflecting on everything life throws at me.... But what you said about going into business with your friends really resonated with me man. I will not accept anyone as a friend into my life if they are not equal to or greater than me in one aspect of life because I need that challenge and competition to motivate me to surpass them in that area. My friends need to reflect my drive to achieve life goals and my high standards I set for myself. Guys... If the people around you don't push you to be better then you need to surround yourself with better people... I agree with everything you said man. Business is war and I have a very tactical thinking, analytical mind so for me, this is the only logical path for me to follow. Keep doing you man. You are helping us all better ourselves. Thank you for everything you do. Even though we aren't actual friends lol, you can still fill that role of a positive role model that is vastly superior to us in certain aspects of life and that's huge dude. There are so many people out there who need exactly what you're providing. If you can make money off of providing valuable advice and guidance to the masses on TH-cam (not that you're doing it for the money or that you need the add revenue) that's awesome. This content is still free for us so I see that as a win:win scenario. Seeing major corporations pay you money to diversify yourself, meanwhile promoting others to do the same at no cost to us is inspiring as well. Have you every thought about writing your own book? I could see you doing that someday man 😁

What the hell do you do if money and material things don't motivate you?

    • @ItachiUchiha-yz5nn
      @ItachiUchiha-yz5nn 6 ปีที่แล้ว +10

M H yes! You can still push yourself too achieve greatness. Read books. Educate yourself in new areas of thought. Set fitness goals. See the world. Learn a new language. Study martial arts. Learn to play an instrument. Take an art class. Study different philosophy or religion or history. Just push yourself to grow. Expand your horizons. Give back to the poor and underprivileged. Do volunteer work. Start a non profit charity event for a noble cause. Become a community pillar. Get into politics for the right reasons and help fight for a better future. Your possibilities are almost endless if you have no material attachments. That is exactly where people need to be to grow on a personal level so you're ahead of the curve. Good luck man.

Could as well store wealth in case you find some future use for it. (It's the "least worst option.") Since frankly a lot of material belongings are a hindrance between storage/transportation versus freedom of going wherever you want by living/traveling light.
As the epic line from a main character in Final Fantasy IV: The After Years goes "He has to learn destiny is something you create for yourself." So congratulations on learning that the crap society/marketers tell you you should want doesn't mean anything to you.
PS Hopefully you don't turn to videogames or brain-dead media as your outlet.. as seems "achieving" things in a game are a joke more often than not. As a previous commenter notes, probably take up playing a sport or an athletic activity if you find you enjoy pushing yourself in "non-financial" ways.

Does freedom not motivate you? If you wake up one day and decide you wanna go deep sea fishing and you have the ability to get up and go because you don’t have to clock into a job. Does something like that not motivate you?

the thought behind your video is positive but some of the advice is not really smart. start a business as early as possible because the first ones will probably fail? well first if you go into something thinking it will fail it probably will, and after you fail at a young age, how will you move forward to the next business when you're up to your neck with debt from the first one?
the whole thing is a little silly

Trump is an excellent politician. He knows what the Jewish elite are up to and he's not ok with it. The white people of the world do not owe non white people anything. You live in Canada, you know what's going on. Is it true that you lucky tax payers get to support the multiple wives of your brown Islamic brethren? Are you denying that the non white parts of Canada are no go zones for white Canadians while non white Canadians shit all over Canada and it's laws? Do you deny that your crime is committed by majority non white Canadians/immigrants?

  • @eugenb9017

Start early, because you are going to fail. True. But how can you start early if you don't have any money? Sure, if your parents give you money, it's easy. And you can fail many times. But if you're on your own it's going to be hard, first time you'll fail, then you need to work again for someone to get some money. A lot of entrepreneurs claim they are self made millionaire. They got a few millions from the parents, invested them, lost all, then got again a few millions and so on, until they made something. Yeah, right, self made...

Bob Bobber hmmm... It appears you've stuck a nerve here... That means you're spot on lol 😂. TBH, I have no problems with single moms. A lot of them are hard working women. I was raised by a single mom who showed me what sacrifice and hard work meant. At no point did she ever have less than 2 jobs. She busted her ass for me. She put herself through school while working and raising me. She made time for me. She went nights without dinner so I could have food.... And she did it all without any government assistance, child support or being a ho.However, single moms today don't seem to meet that standard ("but not all single moms are like that"/"who hurt you"/"I feel sorry for you"/" you hate women"/"you must be a virgin"/"you probably have a small dick"/"something about 'Mommy issues' ") there, now that we got all of those overused replies out of the way I can get to the point :) single moms come with a ton of baggage and drama. Some dudes are looking for a family. That's great. Go get it then. Some single moms aren't looking for anything and are hardworking, focused, amazing mother's. That's great. Get at it ladies... But don't pretend for a single second like you're all these amazing angels because there are a lot of women out there looking to trap successful men by getting pregnant. There are a lot of women out there chasing those child support check who already have 5 kids with 6 different baby daddies. Nobody should be shamed for dating who they want to date. Don't shame a successful dude who doesn't want the emotional baggage that comes with single moms just because you've had a difficult time dating. It's ok to be a single mom. You can be a single mom and be happy. You don't need a man for that... Just like he doesn't need you.

My first entrepreneur venture was selling address leads. I would advertise an opportunity for people to make £500 per week stuffing envelopes and whenever I received somebody's details, I would forward those details onto a guy who would pay me £2.50 for each new lead I would generate. It lasted about 2-3 weeks and I made peanuts so I started to write my first book and got that self published. After that I went on to creating an internet business. I've never been employed by somebody ever.
