You Guy's amaze me. I have been all over that are in the past years and have not found anything like what your finding.
Well, this year we had a flood making the gold much easier to find on the surface...That will decrease in time as the gold sinks. The WAM, in my opinion is the richest gold river in New England....but with that said it's not everywhere it's only where it settles.

The first and only time I went panning was at Twin River Campground. Introduced my wife and son to panning here and she loved it. Hoping we make it up there this season

Great show guys. After two days of catching almost nothing in the Gold Fox mat, I would rip it out and cut up my floor mat from my truck to replace it for day three. Can't work much worse than the original mat.

That site behind you with the camper was our site for the last two years. We are on the other side now. If you were just there we must have just missed you, left on Tues heading back up on friday. That is most definitely flood gold. The rains from last month flattened that whole area out, was some pretty big holes from previous two summers.

Cirling back on this one... Just so you guys know, after your video, Goldfox changed their matting in their mini highbankers and now offers a choice of either Goldhog or Dream matting!
Yes, they changed right around the time of this video. I saw it as a friend has one. Their dream matting is not like mine. It doesn't go all the way up the sluice. They have a standard ripple mat that goes with it. I would still cut my own so it goes full length of the sluice.

Where's your tent Guy's. It's been a while since I watched. Nice campground My Family and I have camped there many times before and gone prospecting. Owners are nice and they even prospect when they have the time.
We got the tent. We just went up for a few days and we didn't want to waste time setting up and taking down our tent....Sometimes it's much easier to rent these small cabins.
I think you ought to put your Pan at the end of the sluice Box to see how much is coming off the end leave it there until your. Run is complete and then you'll know.
I already have a sluice box on the end with dream mat in it. Nothing will get past the dream mat. I eventually switch mats in this and use all dream mat.

After watching your past two video's.. Try Gold Hog matting thats what my buddy uses on the same system your using.. We used my dream mat river sluice to test any loss an only 1 little fly poop that could have been a result of a contaminated bucket or pan during the clean up..

Love that you guys are trying new gear,I was looking at that same highbanker. Vogus threw the original Matt away on his. I may buy the California mini highbanker. I've had good luck with a drop riffle sauce on the swift east branch. And because Tom asked for feedback on what you may be doing wrong...don't wash cast iron pans with dish soap! Lol. Love the content guy's. See you on the rivers & streams!
LOL....That pan was not cast Iron....and I agree I wash them with soap only once in a while and re-season them but the one in this video is stonewear.
Another great show guys. I was really surprised at the miserable results of those mats in the Gold Fox. I wouldn't feel good at giving them away to anyone. I'd feel like I was screwing them over. Ahh well, that's what prospecting is about; finding out what works best for you. Take care, heavy pans! Thanks for taking us along!

Hey guys! Glad it’s prospecting time of year again! I know the matts weren’t working well in the high banker but I couldn’t help but wonder if any gold goes off the back into the tailings pile?
I can adjust that so that it washes slower. I think it was washing them pretty good but the water coming off the end was a bit high. I run it at a lower angle now.
try a different mat or classify first I'm hoping to make it up there soon definately for the meeting!
It's a high banker. The whole idea with a highbanker is to NOT Classify. If I have to classify then I'll just use my old sluice. We got this so we didn't have to classify. We have since changed the mat to dream and and I love this machine.I just love using it. It can run a ton of material and it's light wieght. I'm in love with it. It's going to be my go to sluice all summer.

Yes,. From Tunnel Brook. It's the richest river in New England....in my opinion.

any slower and it wouldn't remove the stones in the mat. It's as slow as I can go....but stay tuned we fix this problem with a better mat and now I love it and it's catching 100% of the gold...

Yup. That was the last time I used it....Coming soon is a video of me cutting a dream mat to fit it....Now I love the gold fox. It's my go to sluice right now.
