I just stumbled upon your channel and may I say that I am so happy that your office isn’t a carbon copy of ikea office that seems to be so prevalent amongst TH-camrs...and while there’s nothing wrong with an “ikea” office it’s just a breath of fresh air to see a different style

I have a strange question. Do you know the name of the color of the paint you have on your walls? that gray color.
I want to say the color was called Oat but I'm blanking on the brand. I think my dad still has the cans so I'll have to ask him!

I’m on a video binge right now. I love your office! I’m so clumsy if I put anything on that little alcove/shelf I would have bumped it off for sure. I also love how “just some books up here” is Harry Potter. Definitely not just some books, but rather a little shelf of sheer awesome! 😬
Yes! Harry Potter is the best 😊 I’m also Pretty accident prone and am impressed that I haven’t managed to knock anything off yet! 😂
I just checked out the Holly Nichols illlustration..some great prints...funny Im always look the look out for fashiony theme wall prints to put in the spair room with all my vanity items....hehe...this is perfect! thanks for sharing the link

Thank you, Jess! I just hunted through my basement to see if I could find the paint can, but I found every other paint I've used in my house and not that one 😆 I'll have to ask my dad if he remembers, since we just used that same color to paint my living room!

Omg I love your room - it's gorgeous! Your dad is so clever and the shelves and decor are fabulous. I am about to turn our little box room into 'my room'. Here in the UK we have three bedroom semi-detached houses and the third room is only tiny with room for a single bed. So in a house of men ( hubby and teenage son) I need a girly space so the single bed is going. Your room has really inspired me ( especially the 'L' cup as my first name begins with that too. Thank you for sharing- it's great. X

can you tell me what the material is your dad used to build your shelves etc.
I can certainly find out! I know that he bought the cabinet portions on the bottom of either side, and then designed all the shelving parts and the desk from pine (I think?). It was actually made in several pieces, and then he installed it as one unit. But if you are looking for specifics I can ask him (as I myself am not the most handy of people lol).
